I had a previous surgery for adult spinal deformity, and when I needed a small additional surgery I was confident in the quality of care and expertise that Dr. Leveque and his team would provide. I have had a very good recovery and am almost back to my previous level of stamina in less than three weeks. The team was careful and responsive, and both I am my family felt comfortable with their approach.

I have dealt with low back issues for decades, but recently the pain became something different, intense, unstable & intolerable. After my MRI showed significant deterioration in my low back, including a 10mm disc herniation, 2 cysts, and serious narrowing of the spinal canals impinging the nerves, I was given a referral for Neurosurgery. While I knew I had to do something, I wanted a Neurosurgeon whose perspective matched mine: bias toward the LEAST invasive approach. I researched Neurosurgeons: education, experience, Patient ratings & reviews, Top Doctors (reviews by peers), and personal statements of interest. Dr. Leveque checked all my boxes. He didn’t disappoint. He made room in his calendar to see me THE VERY NEXT DAY. At our appointment, he was fully informed re the history of my spine, current reports, & had clearly thought through his recommendations. He walked me through the MRI, showing me exactly what was going on, & his recommended approach, which matched my goal of least invasive solution. He got me scheduled for surgery 9 days later. His incredible Scheduler, Ben, got all my pre surgery consults scheduled in the next 6 business days. Post care communication w/RN Jamie was timely, friendly, & helpful. 2 weeks post surgery, I feel SO much better. I cannot praise Dr. Leveque & his team enough. I would highly recommend him to friends, and insist my spouse & children go to him for anything related to their spine.

I was having issues with my right leg going numb while standing and especially after running several miles, something that I have been doing for over 45 years. I was very hesitant to 'go under the knife' but as the pain and numbness continued to get worse my primary care physician, Dr. Kaye, recommended a consultation with Dr. Leveque. Dr. Leveque thoroughly explained what surgical procedure was needed, the risks involved and the expected recovery time. The results have been amazing. Dr. Leveque and the rest of the staff kept in contact with me throughout the recover process. The recovery was easy and I'm back up to my old running distance and frequency. I have no more pain when standing and no more numbness while running. My only regret is that I didn't have the surgery sooner. I'm very pleased with the results and highly recommend Dr. Leveque.

What stands out is he doesn't return calls in a timely manner. What stands out is he is wasting time and doesn't care his patients are in excruciating pain. I have Medicaid therefore I am a 2nd class citizen and this doctor made sure to treat me as such!! STILL WAITING FOR CARE!!!

Dr Leveque was was both direct and personable, and made decisions immediately. He explained his rationale and made his recommendation quickly. He inspired confidence in recommendations. Other staff (forgot one name, I remember the other as [...]) acted quickly on the recommendations.

Provider answered my questions as well as possible and was very good about showing me my issues on my imaging, including how they measure things. I was not rushed and Dr Leveque spent an hour in discussions with me. He was very clear in his explanations and I feel very comfortable with him as my surgeon

Dr Leveque was upfront and explained my situation to me. He explained what was happening and what needed to happen for him to need to operate on me. He was very nice and I respect his knowledge of the situation.

Dr. Leveque and his support team listened well and were responsive. I have spinal stenosis along with other back conditions. I asked for surgery that was low risk with max. benefit since I also have other medical issues. That is exactly what was performed, and I now am able to do things I have not been able to do for a long time. I feel 10 years younger. I had a surgery December 2021 for a tumor in the spine. Dr L’évêque did the very best to help schedule the surgery as soon as possible It was a very complex surgery indeed and he managed to give me full confidence. Doctor L’évêque succeeded to remove the whole tumor without harm. I recommend grandly this surgeon with “ golden hands” and his team.
