Dr. Jayson McMath, MD

After 30 years as a firefighter and working in construction as a side job, I guess I had worn out my right knee. Dr. McMath told me I would know when it was time to replace my knee! I had the usual injections but after a year they didn't help. March 2024 Dr. McMath replaced my right knee. I filled the Rx for my pain pills but only took 1 and that was because my post op instructions said to take 1 the day of my physical therapy. NEVER needed them! After my pt. treatments were over I have full use of my knee! Thank you Dr. McMath !

It was the height of COVID, I had moved to Florida and found I needed my right hip replaced. Three times I had been cancelled down here due the need of hospitals to have beds for COVID patients. It was kismet. I contacted my Orthopediac Doc who helped with my backpain, got in quickly with Dr. McMath who assured me it would not be a problem. Booked in Newnan at the hospital...cancelled due to COVID. I was in so much pain by then I could not walk much at all. Deep aching in waves pain. He said that they will book me in their outpatient surgery! ah... what? Yep! my total hip (done anteriorly which was WONDERFUL) was done and I went to hotel the same afternoon! Oh and by the way... not even one problem.

My first visit with Dr. McMath was great! He explained in details about my needing knee replacement! He set my mind at ease and explained the robotic knee surgery & about how my recovery would be! He has such a good bedside manner! Surgery went well & my visits after surgery did too! He was highly recommended from a friend & I have recommended him to 2 folks that just had same surgery!

I was seen promptly..Dr. McBath had a great, warm response with my hand problem. I would recommend him to anyone. It was a good experience.

My son, grandson and another friend have all used Dr. McMatt, so he came highly recommended. And as promised, He was great! He recognized the problem right away, told me what to do going forward, and took care of the pain!

I was dealing with a very painful trigger finger on my right hand and I could not bend my finger on my right hand. I called and got an appointment to see Dr. McMath at the Summit office as I had this treated in Peachtree City office before. He injected this on Oct 12,2021 and I have not had any pain since, we discussed surgery in the future. Dr. McMath is a fine doctor, he listens and advises. Looking forward to having this fixed.

Dr. McMath did the surgery when she fell and broke her leg. He took wonderful care of her. He was sincerely concerned and always did a good job explaining to her how she was doing and what the next steps needed to be. He is excellent at his job.

Dr. McMath did an excellent job explaining the possible conditions/concerns pertaining to my 13 month old. I appreciated his conservative decision making and felt highly involved in the decision making process.

Dr McMath has been my orthopedic surgeon for over 15 years! I first met Dr McMath when my Dad fell and broke his hip at age 89. Doctor’s attention to detail offered my Dad a quick and smooth successful recovery. He has treated me several years ago with a broken arm and shoulder. I regained 100% use of my arm with physical therapy. Dr McMath has been seeing me for a long time in regard to my knee. He just completed a total knee replacement surgery last month and did a superior job! I am going on 6 weeks post op and I am right on with my recovery! I had the MaKo Robotic surgery and I had a lot of questions that Dr McMath answered directly to me, which meant a lot instead of sending me to an office assistant. He was very detailed in explaining every phase of the surgery and the experience. I went into surgery knowing what to expect. After surgery, doctor came in and said everything went as he expected and explained to me about going home. I thank God for Dr McMath!

Would highly recommend Dr McMath . My entire experience at GA Bone & Joint was extremely positive. The admin staff was very friendly and professional. Dr McMath was kind, compassionate and very professional. Most importantly, he’s did a great job surgically repairing my broken wrist. Three weeks post surgery and my range of motion is amazing!

Dr. McMath repaired my wrist on Saturday. December 8, 2018. I had a miserable break and received excellent care from Dr. McMath. He has a calming attitude. He is professional but not stuffy.

He worked on me for a 'bone spur' in left shoulder. Spur came back in less than 1 year. His senior group doctor (GA Bone & Joint) worked on same shoulder, moved & reattached bicep tendon. Less than 1 year, same prob again

He was the first of 2 guys at Ga Bone & Joint to go into my left shoulder. Poking around in there didn't work, less than a year later a second surgery, relocating my bicep muscle tendon again fails to end the pain, joint crunching & weakness. I'll give props to the rehab crew though, they're excellent

Such a pleasant doctor. Very attentive & informative. Really explains things & listens. He has a wonderful bedside manner. I actually enjoyed my visit & left feeling so much better.
