Dr. Jayce Cook, DO

Dr. Cook took the time to explain my condition and care plan. He made sure to answer all my questions and did not make me feel rushed, I had full attention. I appreciate his approach and demeanor. I feel respected and the staff have also been very friendly and helpful when I needed any assistance with billing/paperwork. Dr. Cook is not pushy and has a calm presence that makes me want to continue my health journey with him. I do not like going to the doctor at all and am happy I found a doctor that makes me feel comfortable. I have not had any issue with setting an appointment or anything else with office, it has been nothing but positive.

I recently saw Dr Cook on “urgent “ visits. Both times he was extremely kind, caring, thorough and informative. Although I was “worked in to the schedule “ he never made me feel intrusive or rushed. He also was wonderful in quickly reporting lab, X-ray, etc. results, saving me hours of anxious waiting! Also, kudos to the front office staff for efficiently handling our concerns- a refreshing change from the sometimes “stonewalling” experiences previously.

Loved his bedside manner. Listened to what we had to say and spent more time with us than he was probably allowed to. Appropriate diagnosis and appropriate prescriptions. Would make him our PCP if possible. Great experience.

Sent to this Cone urgent care by Cone PCP due to symptoms & no available openings at PCP. Explained symptoms and he said “I can’t help you. What’s your primary complaint. There’s too many here. You need to see PCP.” No exam. Only ordered blood work after was told PCP office advised to come here right away. Completely dismissive of patient and provided no care or instructions other than see your PCP.

Horrible, it makes me want to avoid Cone Health.

Dr. Cook was my OB/GYN in 2015 and he was the best Doctor I could ask for. He was very kind, professional, informative and understanding. I was very saddened when I heard the news of him transferring to a different facility. Nothing but positive vibes!

I saw Dr. Cook at the urgent care on New Garden Road, and he has no bedside manners, or just simple respect, whatsoever. After writing a couple prescriptions outside of the exam room, he came back in, dropped them on the exam table, and just walked out. He didn't explain what he was prescribing and why. Awful experience!
