Dr. Jay Swanson, DDS

Had 2 teeth break off at the gums. Dr Swanson cut the roots out and stitched them up. He discussed implants and explained how the procedure worked. I found the doctor pleasant and answered any question I had. No he doesn’t sit around and have small talk as he had many patients waiting in need of his service. Will defiantly go back to him.

Don’t try asking this man questions. He will dismiss you, claim that you’re arguing, and kick you out of his office. Avoid this tiny man.

WORST experience I’ve ever had with any dentist I’m paying 340.00 for this rude man to say open your mouth twice no explanation of procedure very rough when he gives shots and painful he did not explain anything about what he was about to do to me including stitches when I asked was that stitches he said yes pulled your gum together but I guess I’ve never this before like I was questioning his expertise he told his nurse when she asked a question to figure it out herself she mumbled did he just tell me to figure it out my self I said yes mam he did I asked him how he was doing he said if people would quit calling off He never introduced himself to me no explanation of nitrous I told them I had never had that before the nurses were loudly discussing about another patient being an inmate .basically wam bam thank you mam experience I will never go to him again he is very scary.

100% worse experience! Absolutely no bed side manner. Find another doctor!

This was an absolutely horrific experience. He is the rudest person and extremely uncaring. He will threaten you and yell at you.

Do not recommend at all. Got my bottom 2 wisdom teeth removed a week ago. The front desk women were so rude and the only nice person I met was 1 nurse in the back. While he was performing the extraction, he was talking bad about people and cussed multiple times in front of me. I have a cut in my cheek from him and no stitch there. I am so swollen, have a fever, and have felt so bad ever since. Professionalism was no where to be seen from anyone in his office.

Never take a child to this man he has the worst bed side manner ever!!!! My child was bit in the face by a dog and she was super scared and he showed no compassion! None nothing horrible!!!

Went to have a couple of wisdom teeth extracted. It was a awesome experience. Office staff was very friendly and the nurses in the back where amazing they explained everything to me before my surgery. Dr Swanson was amazing. I highly recommend him. I will go back if needed.

Take the nitrous; you'll need it. This man is the US Marines of dental surgery. "Go in, do what you gotta do, and get out". Don't expect strawberry-flavored gel or even a warning before a needle is unceremoniously stuck in your jaw. Don't expect gentle manipulation of a swollen, abscessed tooth. Don't expect him to tell you what he's doing. Thank God for his wonderful assistant; I'd probably have got up and left without her. His handiwork was 5/5, minus 3 stars for abysmal patient relations.

Absolutely horrible!!

The office staff is rude and incapable of performing their job! Insurance is apparently foreign to them. They ask you to pay up front for services and then take too long to submit a claim therefore they get to keep your money and don't have to wait for insurance to pay. I have worked in the medical field and I know how insurance works. I would not recommend this place based on the terrible office staff.
