We had appointment for our daughter recently with Dr. Portnoy and to say we were disappointed would be an understatement. Our appointment with him was completely pointless and didn't give us any more insight than what my daughters pediatrician and I already knew. He has terrible bedside manner, terrible body language, comes off as creepy and just gives you an overall uncomfortable feeling. My daughter is normally not shy and does well interacting with providers, but from the moment he walked in she kept close to me. Overall during the appointment he didn't seem to be engaged or really listening to what we were trying to get out of the appointment. My daughter was undergoing treatment for an ear infection and when he did the evaluation of looking in her ears he said they looked just fine even though she had only been on her medication for only a day. That right there is a red flag. I overall would never recommend him to anyone for care. If I could give him zero stars I would.

Don’t recommend
Do not recommend if you child has food allergies. He will shame you.
