He told me that I need To remember that I'm not 30 years old anymore. I hardly was able to ask questions. He kept answering them before I could even finish. He was in such a rush to get out of the room.

Disappointed
I share a similar experience in that Dr. Han was extremely rude, condescending, and dismissive of my symptoms. This behavior as medical gaslighting. Dr. Han barged in the room with the first words out of his mouth being "Now what is a healthy young girl like you doing in my office". He talked over me several times and when he asked if I had any questions, he continued to dismiss my symptoms as if what I was diagnosed with earlier was incorrect. He kept going back and forth over your symptoms are probably nothing and you never have to see me ever again to maybe something is there and we'll do an echocardiogram. I scheduled an appointment with another cardiologist. My suspicions and gut instinct were right and my heart condition had worsened (most likely due to covid) and my blood flow was a lot less than it previously was. After more appointments also found that I had two blood clot. Do not put your life on the line with this doctor. It'll most likely be dismissed if you "look healthy"

My elderly mother was a patient of Dr. Han and I took her to her appointments with him and was in the room during the visits. He seemed adequate as far as his medical treatment, but I'm going to address his "bedside manner". He doesn't have any. He had no patience, was rude, condescending, and don't even think about asking him a question because it would be intruding on his time. My mother was a patient of his for about a year and a half. I was ready to change to another cardiologist after the 2nd visit, but my mother didn't want to deal with changing doctors. I would absolutely never refer anyone to Dr. Han. There are a large number of cardiologists throughout Orange County to choose from so if you have a PPO, do not go to this office. If you have an HMO, do not go to this office.

After my family doctor told me I needed to see a cardiologist to read the results of my echocardiogram I selected and met with Dr. Jay Han at Providence St. Jude in Fullerton Ca. He was very straightforward and told me I needed to have an aortic valve replacement and that he first needed to do an angiogram to determine exactly what to do. He was an excellent listener, answered all my questions, and had me speak to Dr. Eugune Bynum about TAVR surgery which is done through the groin instead of having open-heart surgery which is much more invasive. I greatly appreciate Dr. Han's advice and care for me concerning the potential open-heart surgery which is what I ended up having done. I have asked several questions about my issue off and on since meeting him and I have always gotten quick responses and I greatly appreciate it as I know how busy these doctors are these days. I would highly recommend Dr. Jay Han to anyone in need of a cardiologist.

Dr. Han is extremely caring and understanding. He took the time to listen to all my concerns about my husband's condition and gave me the pros and cons of the various options of treatment. I was also very surprised and appreciative that he called us at home a few days after seeing him to check on my husband's progress..I would highly recommend him.

My time with Dr Han was great. He was referred by my primary due to my blood pressures problems. He was spot on, direct and to the point. He added, subtracted and changed certain medications and brought the BP under control. he then did additional tests to complete my review. I very much enjoyed the interface and highly recommend him to those that want results..Dan Kiernan ..10/10/20

***GOD COMPLEX*** This is the second encounter that I have had with Dr. Han since 2014. The first time I met him, his bedside manner was horrible and he speaks down to you like your dumb and wasting his time. Fast forward, 6 years and here I am today just completed my visit. I was appalled that he has not changed one bit. I knew I needed to finally submit a review something, I should had done years ago. I am actually quite shocked the positive reviews he does have. I will be requesting a new MD to see. I don't care how good a doctor you are if your mean towards your patients. Signed, A registered nurse

Just got home from my appointment with him and came straight here. All of the negative reviews about him are spot on. His bedside manner is terrible. He made me feel like I was wasting his time. I've seen A LOT of doctors over the years and he is easily the worst one I've encountered. If tests show something that warrants further treatment, I'll be selecting a different doctor in that office to work with.

I have been with Dr Han for almost 15 years. During those years he monitored my overall health. Especially my heart condition, which was a leaky valve. Dr Han had always been honest and straight forward with me. At times scolding me for doing things I shouldn't be doing. One thing in particular was playing basketball. Since, I have stopped playing and plan to resume all activities in approx 5 months. I'm recovering from open heart surgery (one month ago) to replace a valve and a few other things. I feel great. Dr Han had told me, since I displayed no symptoms at all he will tell me when it's time. He did just that after an echo had shown my condition worsening. I had been nervous knowing this time will come. I thank Dr Han for watching over me the past 15 years. During my hospital stay he came into the room and spent 10-15 minutes a day speaking with me. He was always positive telling me things will be ok. Today I had an appointment with him (post op) and had the opportunity to tha

My first impression of Dr. Han was him telling my parent that he didn’t know why we were in his office. Despite the fact he had just seen my parent 2 days earlier in the hospital for heart related issues. He could care less about the person he treats and acts jealous when another Specialist gets involved with care saying things like he didn’t know why he was called since another doctor was now involved. The facility we see him at should look into his tactics as a doctor and his treatment of his patients. For those patients that don’t have the medical training and knowledge of medical conditions and medications they will not be able to advocate for themselves with this man and may fall victim to being mistreated. That’s not fair for the elderly and very sick patients that put their trust in their doctor.

I loved how he is direct and to the point. Heart issues are very serious and I want to hear exactly what the issues are without pulling any punches. When I tried to bring up other symptoms unrelated to heart stuff, he told me to take it up with my General Practitioner since that wasn’t his specialty. That was the right answer.

I don't know where these one-star reviews came from, Dr. Han is my cardiologist and, as such, does a great job. He is prompt, competant, and thorough. He explains things completely and offers options when appropriate. I am very happy with Dr. Han and highly recommend him.

I would not recommend him to a stranger let alone my family or friends. His lack of compassion for my health which I’ve struggled with for ten years he managed to turn into a waste of his time. Yet I’ve been under the care of two cardiologists who worked with me and not against me. Han did just that even convincing me to ask someone else to refill a high blood pressure medication I was on for three years. Just three refills he gave me and asked me to go to someone else.

Dr. Han minimizes your health concerns and if it’s not the least bit cardiac or specifically “heart” related, he tunes out and says it’s not his area! Doesn’t treat the patient as a whole, just a “heart.” He’s abrupt and rude.
