Dr. Jawad Pervez, MD

This doctor interjects his religion while visiting. I am also 27 (25 when i saw him) and he wanted my father to attend during a visit. My father even thought this was strange. I asked for atmoxetine ( a non controlled medication) and he refused to give it to me even though i have an adhd diagnosis from a study done by a neuropsychologist. This doctor is very judgmental and will lie in his reports. IF YOU SEE HIM MAKE SURE YOU READ HIS REPORTS AFTER. One time i had an appt with him and he wrote stuff in the report of stuff that i never said. He then told me that he wrote that stuff in the report to protect me ( bascially admitting he knew it was false) and then he changed his report. This doctor needs to be reprimanded and should not be practicing in my honest opinion.

We care for a family member who has had psychiatric issues for more than 50 years. During this time we have had experience with several doctors. We can say with absolute certainty that Dr. Pervez has been the best psychiatrist that we have ever dealt with. He will personally return phone calls and when action needs to be taken he does it right away. We are very grateful for the care our family member gets.

Dr. Pervez is amazing. I have seen others in adult life but he is the only one that actually listens.

Dr. Pervez is very insightful, kind, encouraging and caring. He is very good at what he does and quickly helped me to identify and address problems I'd struggled with for years. He spends a great deal more time with patients than the average doctor.

Dr. Pervez will interject his religion into your visits, by the third visit. He will not tell you exactly what the prescriptions he gives you will do. One made me drunk. The day he prescribed me to start taking it, I had to drive to the counseling session, 14 miles away. I took my meds, left for the appt, and half-way there, felt drunk. I told the counselor, at the same facility Dr. Pervez practices, that I felt very drunk after taking seroquel. She let me drive away.
