Dr. Javier Flores, MD

My son was treated by him. He made a mess of his face. He never had acne and now at 24 years old he has pimples with pus because of the creams that he was prescribed. He had to go to an urgent care because his whole face was swollen. Now he is being treated by another real dermatologist and is taking antibiotic creams and pills to improve his face and he can't explain why Flores prescribed him that kind of creams.

After a procedure at this office when the area wasn't healing, they wouldn't allow me to go back to have them look at it - 'send a picture'. As the area (on my face) got progressively worse, I was forced to go to an urgent care clinic where they took a culture and sent it to a lab for diagnosis. It turned out to be 'an aggressive bacterial infection' for which they gave me a prescription. After 10 days of taking the medication, it was eradicated. I will never return to that office and caution any reader to go at your own risk. If there were indications to rate this practice, they would earn the maximum number.

I am 63 years old and have lived with a large Keratosis (similar to a birth mark) on my head/scalp, and have been seen by multiple prominent Dermatologist and Plastic Surgeons, and I was told nothing to do, only Biopsy's. Dr, Flores scrapped it off in less than 5 minutes and its healing amazing. I still cannot believe it he removed it. He is a very honest Professional.

I have been trying to make an appointment with Lilly Gonzalez but I am told by voice mail to "leave a message" and then nobody calls. Why isn't somebody answering the phone in that office???? Some people don't have all day to wait around for them to call back.

He is the only specialist I would trust with my complex skin cancer issues. He is a great professional & human being. His practice & personnel are some of the best professionals I have ever gone to.

After having a skin biopsy tissue extracted from my leg on October 3, 2018 I made 10 attempts at contacting the doctor's office for my results. I tried using various options to reach the staff for my results. This is November 21, 2918 and attempts to reach anyone at that office have failed. I would walk into the office to retrieve my results, however, living in Broward County it's an hour and 10 minutes trip each way. Please seriously consider going to this office for medical services.

Horrible front desk!!! First I got there and they lied and told me I'd be seen soon, then I heard multiple patients talking about having the same appt time and figured out there were 3 ahead of me, So I asked the front desk why they double booked and they told me they do that all the time, and that it's a clinic so it's normal to wait. ZERO respect for patients and our own time. I walked out when it was obvious it would take at least an hour and a half wait PAST my appt time to be seen.

Excellent Doctor!!! I am his patient with my eyes close.....any bumps in the road because of the waiting time or staff issues, he makes it up with his professionalism and caring....his expressions shows the loves and enjoyment of his work and he always go the extra mile to please his patients.

wonderful Doctor ! His assistant lily she is just wonderful ! Dr.viera is a doll ! the Staff is amazing sweet and patient ! Love this doctors office!

Dr. Javier Flores has been my Doctor since 2006 when I moved from Washington DC to Miami. I do recommend him highly and his assistant Lilian........

mistake after mistake. not reconmended

I waited at Dr. Flores' office for over 45 minutes. When mentioned it I was told that all of his patients are old and slower and this is how doctor's offices are. This is another case of a spoiled doctor who doesn't care about his patients, who overbooks to milk your pocket. I've learned the hard way so many times. I walked out before even seeing this doctor. My experience is that these early indicators are usually good indicators of what's to come. No thank you!

Good doctor...terrible customer service....the people at the front desk have an attitude...they are condecending.....forget about asking for medical records, rx refills or anything that implies going out of their way...you'll wait forever.

The front desk isn't all that friendly to begin with, then on top of that you'll learn that dr flores stacks his patients 4 deep (when i walked in there were 4 of us scheduled to see him all at for same appt. time). So he's milking insurance companies and wasting working people's time. Unethical and inconsiderate!

Dr Flores is extremely competent. My family and I have been his patients for years. He is EXCELLENT!!
