Dr. Jasper Yung, DO

I was honestly looking for another physician when I saw Dr. Yung's name, his 2.8 stars, and I was shocked. I went to HFH WB ED for a migraine. I was an ED nurse for many years and know the stigma surrounding migraine patients. I wasn't expecting much but Dr. Yung was concerned, ordered tests, medications, and was not 'judgey' at all. I received EXCELLENT care.

Not thorough in analysis; did not subscribe medication or link data to infection; elderly man ended up days later coming back in septic shock

Very personal and informative

He seemed to attempt to insult my 90 year old father with advanced Alzheimer's by patronizingly offering him a "Finding Nemo" sticker and laughing with 2 other coworkers as my father was leaving the ER with me. Granted, this was after my father was swearing at everyone in the vicinity and refusing any help, but you'd think that Dr. Yung would've had to deal with elderly patients with severe dementia before and would've had the professionalism and decency to not laugh with his coworkers at a tragic situation like that. It was insulting. I told him and his coworkers that it wasn't funny- and after an awkward silence, nobody apologized, I just had to walk away and continue to deal with my belligerent father on the way out the door.

He was not thorough when discussing my issues. He told me my blood type was something other than what it was, MyChart gave me different results from the results this DR gave me. 2 Stars because he was somewhat funny.
