Dr. Jason Wang, MD

Dr. Jason Wang is a miracle worker! I had a great experience with him. I went in for a consolation for Lasik and due to having -11 eyesight did not qualify. Instead EVO ICL was recommended for me. I decided to get it and it has been the best decision I've ever made. I went from not being able to see anything to seeing better than all of my friends/family. When it came to surgery day, Dr. Wang was wonderful as well as the nurses and anesthesiologist. I was so comfortable and there was zero pain. When I had concerns during recovery Dr. Wang got me in right away and explained everything going on. I am now 9 months post op and still can't believe I'm not wearing contacts.

My complaint is not about Dr. Wong. It is about the facility that he operates out of. He is Omni eye-care, the facility is one floor below but it’s the same phone number. I had my consultation they called and told me what my co-pay would be. A week prior to the surgery. I was called with preop instructions, then two days before the surgery they called me and said they were out of network. I had already checked with my insurance company and they were NOT out of net work. My insurance company called them told them they were in network, both the doctor and the facility. All they needed to do was call and get an authorization to which they replied “no they didn’t want to do that”. My choice was make payments or pay upfront. I could go on a cancellation list and perhaps by August things would be figured out. Meantime they had sold me $120 of eye drops. Very poor business practices.

I had been considering corrective eye surgery for years and wasn’t ever sure where to start with this process. He highly recommended Dr. Jason Wang perform my surgery, as Dr. Wang has a reputation for producing effective long-term results. I decided to have PRK surgery in December 2019 and the Spivack Vision Center staff supported me through the entire process. On the day of the surgery, Dr. Wang greeted me with enthusiasm, communicated directly and clearly, and assured me through the surgery. I am so grateful for Dr. Wang and the doctors who followed up with my appointments to ensure my vision results would be optimal. I now have 20/20 vision and feel so much joy every day that I wake up and can see clearly. Thank you for this life-long gift!

DR Wang is very caring and takes time to explain everything

I love Dr. Wang. Unfortunately I need a PRK enhancement, but the office staff seems to have gone AWOL. Nobody returns phone calls to either myself or my optometrist. Sad that such a great doc is wasted on poor office management

I visited Dr. Wang after experiencing a surge in visual floaters in one eye. He was very friendly and knew exactly how to review the situation. During a the thorough exam he explained everything in terms I could easily understand. Given the opportunity, I will refer friends and family to his practice with confidence.
