I had been seeing Dr Santiago but, unfortunately he retired. Dr Wagner was appointed to be my new Dr with no input from me. I met with him once about 2 years ago for about 10 minutes, I was not impressed, it seemed like he had not even looked over my file and proceeded to give me a lecture on COPD. I new all about COPD having been diagnosed 14 years earlier. I have been looking for a new Pulmonologists but unfortunately the good ones that I have tried to make an appointment with will not see me because I saw DR Wagner. It seems that these DR's have some kind of agreement that they won't see someone else's patient. Now it looks like Drs decide who you can see and who you can't, the patient has no choice in the matter. I thought this was America were a patient could seek out the best Dr for their needs but sadly that is no longer true!
