Dr. Jason Reingold, MD

He listened!! I was tired of doctors just prescribing medicines that had side effects that caused me to need other medicines. In 40 years no Dr ever talked to me about nutrition or vitamins to help reduce my risk of a heart problem. I knew I had to be my own healthcare advocate, so I read several books on the heart and cholesterol. He knew all of the latest research on cholesterol which my doctor of 40 years did not. My current doctor Scared me so badly I couldn’t sleep at night. Dr. Reingold had tests run that Contradicted what I have been lead to believe. I discovered I was not at a high risk. Finally, a doctor that listens and explains my condition and how it affects my whole body. He also revealed how my condition was genetic and all the options available. I have always tried to make healthy choices but Dr Reingold helped me understand why I have elevated markers in spite of that. I have changed cardiologists because Dr Reingold takes the time to explain and answer ALL my questions. My prior doctors only looked at normal stuff and missed the true cause. Dr Reingold even made sure I informed my children to get checked so they can know if they have it and be able to manage it, something that would have been missed with other doctors.
