should have placed this review a year ago... had hip replacement two years ago, and HIGHLY recommend Dr. Mihalcin. Too many patients go out of town to other drs. when we have excellent treatment here in visalia.

The good doctor, Jason Mihalcin, D.O. is my pick for an orthopedic surgeon. I was a professional runner, with both knees shot. Almost mad with pain, first attempt was Michelle Schulz,M.D. out of Fresno. Primary visit was with the doctor's P.A. , then with the dr., a month later, with no call back. The meeting with Schulz and the PA was uncaring, & apathetic. My GP then referred Dr. Mihalcin, and am forever grateful. He is as good as the staff at Cedars-Sinai - hands down!

I had a torn Meniscus on the right knee. Mine was torn so bad it looked like the frayed end of a mop. I did my research and chose Dr. Mihalcin. When I met with him and he listened and explained what needed to be done. I have special needs being that I am a full neck breather. He talked with me and understood my concerns, and made sure they would be taken care of, and did. I know I made the right choice for my doctor. He made sure I met with the nurses and the Antithesologest. He get's A+

I had an appt. with Dr. Mihalcin today for my ankle with I broke 3 weeks ago. He was very thorough in his examination and explained a lot to me about what was happening with my ankle. What I also liked was he didn't seem to be in a hurry and answered all my questions and concerns. He was very personable and I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs an Orthopedic Surgeon.
