Excellent Doctor
Dr. Leaseburg is an excellent surgeon. He explains things well and makes sure you understood everything, including the risks and expected outcomes. The post op instructions are clear. You’ll feel well informed, listened to, and confident in his decisions for your care. If you follow instructions, resting for as long as you’re supposed to and pacing your return to exercise correctly, you should expect a good recovery. Even so, sometimes a correctly executed procedure just doesn’t work. Dr. Leaseburg carefully navigates care in these situations to try and get the best outcome. He’s a very skilled surgeon and a good doctor who genuinely wants to help you. I highly recommend him.

Dr Leaseburg is a good dr
Dr. Leaseburg has performed surgery on my son and my daughter. They both had a ruptured tendon in their foot, one right after the other. So when I needed to have a bone sliver removed from my foot I went to him. The day before my surgery, I fell and injured both knees and my ankle. I waited a few days because I thought I just had a serious sprain. When I called his office to see if he would see me and he saw me me the same day. Even though he is a foot and ankle guy, he he also X-rayed my knees. My knees turned out okay except for a great deal of swelling but I had broken my ankle. I am so great full he took care of me. He is a great doctor and he is a compassionate person.

Easy-Going and Professional
I’ve always had a phobia for doctors when it comes to bone work. However, with Dr. Leaseburg, I left all my worries at the door. He made sure that I was not only comfortable but informed on any procedures or recovery periods associated with them. Made sure everything was within my insurance and was up front and honest about cost. I was put at ease not only in the office but in my wallet.

Ok I can’t write all my thoughts here, but I did on Google. Suffice to say, you can’t blame the doctor for your inability to follow a recovery plan. Short version: We felt very confident going into surgery that I would recover fully within six months: no pins or plates or lingering troubles. The surgery went well and everything was going fine. But then I became overconfident and ignored my pain, and made a series of poor choices (including alcohol) and we were back in the Drs office, but no one was laughing anymore. The next two years were a series of surgeries and pins and a lot of pain. I felt so much regret, and felt really dumb and actually cried at my appointment more than once. But some amazing staff members helped me understand that we are programmed to get moving ASAP. And that modern life makes us feel guilty for spending recovery time. How dumb is that? I had to learn how to rest and recover, but once I did, I had very little trouble. My mom and I are so grateful.

Dr. Leaseburg is a very kind and friendly doctor but unfortunately, it's been 3-1/2 years since my surgery that he performed on my foot and ankle has never quit swelling. He told me that I would have to "give it some time". I think that it's been enough time. I recommend going to the Texas Medical Center and finding a professional.

I meant to write this review ages ago, but it took me a long time to heal and then life got in the way. But I was just reminded how much my life has changed for the better since my surgery, and felt I should commend both my doctor and the hospital staff for my care. Dr. Leaseburg performed a surgery to correct a deformity in my feet. He explained the surgery, the likelihood of success, and my recovery process very well. I had been through this before, but I had never felt confident that surgery was the right decision. This time was different. Part of it is my age, but also I think Dr Leaseburg explained my options in the right way. I wish I had done it years earlier, but maybe I wasn’t ready and maybe I had not met the right doctor. I could not be more grateful for the care I received.

Well I finally stepped in it! That big hole by the boat dock, that is. :( It was a nasty mess of breaks and tears that had to be operated on. Dr Leaseburg did my surgery and aftercare and I could not recommend him more. I know he was in a hurry (Drs always are lol) but he explained everything to me several times. It was complicated and I couldn’t explain it all to you now lol, but he took the time to make me and my husband feel informed and confident in his abilities. The surgery facility and all the staff were PURRRFECT. I could not have been more nervous but they could not have been nicer or more accommodating.

I saw him when I broke my foot last year. Another doctor wanted to operate on it but it only need the cast and it healed FINE. That one made me mad because the surgery was too expensive and I didn't need it. I told anybody who had a foot break to make sure they need a operation in the first place, because not every doctor as honest as that. And if they are around here I tell them to go to Dr Leaseburg because he did me right! But I am done breaking bones and take it easy from now on, so thanks for your service but I am never going back there.

Dr. Leaseburg is an amazing doctor. He is very kind and explains any issues in a manner that you can understand. I was very nervous because I have never had an injection in my foot and have heard it can be painful. Dr. Leaseburg let me know what to expect an put me at ease. He fixed my foot and I couldn't be happier. The staff is friendly and so helpful. I would recommend this doctor and his office to anyone.

This is Dr Jason T Leaseburg. Please be cautious when using this and other websites for choosing your doctor or to try and rank your doctor. Both POSITIVE and NEGATIVE rankings are very unreliable. This web site is E-mail verified and is for profit to sell you something. These reviews may or may not be patients of mine, they may be repetitive reviews, they may be the wrong doctors or they may be fakes. I strongly believe in honesty with my patient and only want the best outcomes for every patient. Therefore, I recommend using you primary care doctor, family and friends, local social media, background training of the doctor and board certification along with talking the other doctors in their field of practice to decide on your doctor or surgeon. It is never wrong to get a second opinion. In summary, please be cautious. Jason T Leaseburg MD

Unbelievable surgeon. This was my fifth surgery on my ankle tendon with the previous four by other Doctors. He was able to fix the problem and I could not be happier. He is great to visit with and took time to inform me of all risks with the surgery. I understand not all operations go well and ankle surgery if very difficult. I am glad I saw him after multiple recommendations from other doctors I know. Thanks again Dr Leaseburg

Not impressed. He blamed a colleague for my ongoing ankle problems. He was also scared to do surgery and told my workers comp due to poor outcome of previous surgeries. Which were done by a Methodist surgeon. Wow threw him under the bus a professional would have called the other surgeon to discuss this case which they never did.
