No More Dr. Lang
I was sad to hear Dr. Lang is leaving. Everyone at EmergeOrtho are always so nice, friendly, helpful and understanding. I would be happy to recommend Dr. Lang but he won't be there. I have recommended him in the past to several of my neighbors.

Great Surgeon
Dr. Lang provides the utmost in surgical care. He adapts his practice to new equipment and techniques to make his patients as comfortable as possible. He is concerned about the whole patient, not just the surgical procedure.

Terrific surgeon
Dr. Lang is a terrific surgeon. He is very caring and very attentive to the needs of his patients. I would truly recommend him for hip replacement surgery. He did a wonderful job on fixing my hips.

Great Experience
Dr Lang actually showed me my X-Ray and explained what and where he was seeing what was happening. I'm visual, so that was helpful. He also had a handout of recommendations to reduce inflammation with lots of good information. He was on time, though, kind, and gentle.

Great doctor
I was having trouble with my knee after it popped last month. I had x-rays earlier and he reviewed them with me and my husband. My problem is mostly arthritis. He gave me a referral for physical therapy to work with my knee and said if that didn't help, then he could do an injection later. I was grateful that he didn't recommend surgery that was not needed. I was very pleased with my visit, and highly recommend Dr Lang.

Wonderful surgeon. I highly recommend him.
While awaiting my surgery for a hip replacement Dr. Lang visited me and I told him of my needle phobia. He listened carefully and was understanding; he made sure that any injections that were necessary before the surgery were handled with the greatest care and gentleness. The result was that all injections were non-traumatic and nearly painless.The aftercare that I received was also excellent and I would return to Dr. Lang if any other future orthopedic surgery is needed.

Go to for anterior hip replacement surgery
I have not had the hip replaced yet, but my initial appointment was great. He listened, was professional, pleasant, and answered my questions. He is one of the few local surgeons who does the anterior hip replacement procedure. The only drawback is that his schedule is so full that it is a long wait for appointments and to get surgery dates.

Fantastic Ortho Visit
I chose Dr Lang after reviewing his orthopedic qualifications and reviews from other patients. I was certainly please by my visit with him. I have had multiple trauma injuries and repairs due to those injuries on my left leg. I now needed someone that I could trust to take on my care going forward since recently moving to the Blue Ridge area. Dr Lang was very attentive, thorough, knowledgeable and reassuring. I left with a plan for some PT and a long range plan for joint care. It is not always easy to find a physician comfortable with taking on a patient that has had 5 surgeries at different locations all on one knee. But Dr Lang’s experience and patient facing demeanor that made me walk away from the office knowing he would be my Ortho caregiver going forward . Thank you Dr Lang
