Dr Knox treated me for a tailors bunion. He did surgery on my foot and got it infected. After a week I went to see him and my foot was red and swollen. He asked me if I was taking the antibiotics and when I told him he never ordered any he looked puzzled. He had to do another surgery. This time he had to incise more of the incision to quote him saying the reason was was to "scrape the "mush" out to get to more of it.Postop I developed Staph and had to be hospitalized. When he was packing the wound I let him know he was hurting me. He looked around on the bed and said (You need to suck it up. He said this twice).I told him I wanted discharged in which he did so and home Health took over. I am a retired RN (BS) of patient care and I have rarely met a non compassionate discerning man as he. I hear he's moving to Utah----hummmh?

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Knox for over 3 years. He suffers from diabetes, lymphedema, nephropathy, and charcot foot. Dr. Knox's medical expertise has twice prevented the loss of my husband's life and limbs. He has been exceedingly kind, honest and deeply knowledgeable. My husband's case is challenging and complicated so our opinion is based on deep experience with Dr. Knox during very serious episodes. We could not recommend him more highly to anyone needing care in this specialty. High commendation to Neuhaus Foot and Ankle Clinic for securing his services.

I cannot in good conscience commend anyone to his practice, especially if they are low income and have PTSD or autism spectrum disorder. He operated on my feet. I had informed him of my PTSD and autism spectrum disorder when he first talked to me. He got annoyed with me when I demanded that all other avenues of treatment be exhausted before amputation. He ignored my mental health concerns. He was callous and condescending towards me, and I felt bullied into agreeing to a surgery that obviously terrified me. He didn't care. Before the surgery I had a PTSD episode with my body totally locking up in an attempt to protect myself from a I was left with bruises on my arms from where he had to pry my arms apart before he could put me under. He ignored and dismissed the emotional trauma I suffered.

I like many do not typically write reviews. I had foot surgery Nov. 10, 2015. Dr. Knox is the absolute best Dr. that I have ever dealt with. The surgery is a great success. Dr. Knox personally called day after, as well did his nurse. Dr. Knox focuses on you and gives your case all his attention during office visits. I went at times he was very busy, and felt like his only patient. Dr. Knox has a staff that treats you as important as Dr. Knox does. I would rank everyone in the office 10plus.

Very impressive to have Dr. Knox take the extra time to explain in detail my issue and the detail of the procedure. Normally do not receive this much attention to detaila nd generalc concern. Truly a great experience and will highly recommend.
