Outstanding Doctor in all respects: Knowledge, explanation, concern for patients general well being, ordering referrals, dealing with insurance bureaucracy. A couple times he was a little late, but I felt he gave his full attention to me as he no doubt does for every patients. Tip: If you live in west Corona and are looking for a PCP backed by two of the best hospitals in the OC and a top grade medical group, Dr. Jilk there is no better choice.

Every time we see Dr Jilk he keeps pushing for unnecessary tests. Last time he insisted my son may have a pituitary gland tumor(!!) I tried to explain that to have a tumor there should at least be symptoms. He dismissed what I said and kept pushing for more tests and for referring him to an endocrinologist. I took a 2nd opinion and my son's pediatrician confirmed that all this is unnecessary. We went ahead and did the tests and all of them came back normal. Very unprofessional.

My experience with Dr. Jilk has very pleasant. After an emergency I needed a follow up appointment. I am so glad I ended in Dr. Jilk’s Hand. Dr. Jilk and his staff are great.

Dr Jilk doesn’t like to be questioned on his knowledge/opinion. He’s fine when you do exactly as he says, but not when you want to do something different. Anytime I question him on something, there’s an issue. My father came with me to an appointment and made it a point to say something about him talking over me. He’s never outright rude, but it’s hard to stick up for your child when you don’t feel like you’re heard.
