Plays God with health
If I could give him 0 stars, I would. I was referred to an IR (interventional radiologist) for a specific procedure that needed to be done under live imaging. The type of DIAGNOSTIC test I needed wasn't a common test. He claimed he was familiar with it and he knew exactly what it entailed. He said he's treated other patients with my condition before. The day of the test I was given a consent for treatment to review and sign. The specific test was outlined in the consent. He even verbally confirmed things. Fast forward a couple years and I get ready to see a surgeon out of state. The coordinator called me and said that I'm not a candidate for minimally invasive surgery because Dr Jason Himmel did an extra step during my test that was for TREATMENT purposes, not just diagnostic. Since he did that, I'm no longer a candidate for surgery. The treatment he did is NOT effective but now I'm stuck like this because he played God with my body and went waaay off script. This is a lifelong issue.
