Dr. Heavens has been my Dr. For many years. I've always have had wonderful experiences during every visit. No matter what I say to him he never is judgemental .I'm always comfortable and will never choose another Dr. Hes the best Dr. I've had and will stay with his practice as long as they will have me.

Been seeing this doctor for a year me and my husband have. He doesn't really seem to care about the patients very much. My husband hip really hurts him he had x-ray done weeks ago and still hasn't got back with him about results. And my husband went down to talk to secretary and still he not look at X-ray this doctor just want money gave my BP pill and I don't need them almost went to hospital. My doctor in Chicago would look at test and return calls and take time for people cuz we are there paychecks only in office once a week and other office to busy as well

Best Primary Doctor Ever
So you have been disappointed with your primary. I have been there, then I found Dr Heavens. If your looking for a doctor who cares, listens, is through, gives you all the time you need then you definitely need Dr Heavens. He goes above and beyond to help and if he can’t then he will send you to a specialist that can.

Would give no stars if I could. In several years of being a patient of Heavens Medical, I've never actually seen Dr. Heavens. As of 7/20/21, office has moved, but no online information is updated. Their failure to inform of move - I confirmed they were at the same location! - made me late for an appointment made just today, and they cancelled me on the basis of a no-show, which was false. Health care quality seems okay, but the rest of it is terrible. Poor patient service. When you call for an appointment, no one tells you you're talking to someone in Houston, TX. Need to pay a bill? Oh, that goes to Belfast, MAINE. I'm tired of looking for new PCPs, but am seriously considering it. This is terrible.

At this point I would NOT recommend. STILL waiting (10 days now) for a call back for a script refill. I've been going to this Dr for 4 years and no record of me in their "system" GRRRRRRRRR

Dr Heavens was friendly and knowledgeable. He truly cares about his patients. Recently when my colonoscopy revealed cancerous looking masses , Dr heavens expedited a referral surgery immediately. Am now recovering from a colon resection . Thankful and grateful.

Marvelous ...This year makes 3 years that I have trusted my Health to Dr Heavens and his Staff ..They surprised me me about 2 months ago ...I went in the Office for a 3 month Follow Up and Ashley asked me if I wanted my 1st Covid shot while there ...of course I wanted it ...then 4 weeks later went back for the 2nd Covid Shot ...I feel so at ease just talking to anyone at Dr Heavens Office ...They are all so cool calm and collected ... Thank you ALL

In recent years clinic has gon extremely down hill. No return call when the wrong prescription was sent to my pharmacy. Different client's information in my chart. Took 6 weeks to get my records and this was only because I was persistent. the law states records need to be given to patient in two weeks. My communication with the provider regarding my condition was documented incorrectly. Most concerning other patients info was in my chart.

Horrible! If I could give no stars, I would! They wouldn't refill my prescription when pharmacy called or when I called. They always give me the run around & then transfer me to voicemail & never get a call back. On an occasion I was told to come to office for preop testing & checked in at front desk & waited an hour and a half before asking how much longer...only for the girl at front desk to say "oops, I forgot to print your paperwork!" Don't use these people! Unprofessional & incompetent!

Absolute worst referral system I have ever experienced. If you need a referral be prepared to wait forever. Their referral staff is obviously extremely incompetent, unprofessional and couldn't care less.

Dr. Heavens office is not at all in the habit of making the patient FIRST. From 1. forgetting that I was sitting in waiting room for almost an hour, 2. to not answering faxes to my insurance company 3. to NOT returning my calls either to the doctor, the doctors assistant, the doctors RN, to front office, to any one in office. many messages left. Big problem when I have to drive into the office to get an answer to medical decision printed and faxed to the insurance company during my insistance. and then never answering the insurance company when they needed one (1) more form filled out by the doctor (or assigned person) and sent back to insurance company about new prescription for diabetic needed medicine. Attitude of office staff is condescending, rude, uncaring and unprofessional of a medical staff. I believe if Dr. Heavens cannot have a better trained staff, he might be the biggest problem of all.

This office has serious issues. The staff is completely incompetent. If you want things done right like referrals, medical records, prescription refills or even your insurance company billed correctly, whatever you do, DO NOT do business with this doctor or his urgent care. A referral that should have taken a week took 10. First I was referred to wrong specialist, then to a specialist not on my insurance, then they faxed the referral to an invalid number, then to the right network of doctors, but the wrong type of doctor! No acknowledgement of the letter of concern sent to Doctor Jason Heavens either!! I complained to Dr Heavens who has NO desire to resolve issues. I did not even receive a courtesy call from him acknowledging an issue existed. Every three months I needed medical records provided. And every three months for a year, it was done wrong. I spent literally HOURS trying to straighten things out!!!People who are ill do not need this kind of stress. Then the bil

I have been going to both offices for 7 years. In those 7 years I’ve never had any problems. He literally saved my life by being diligent and is very caring. I guess some ppl just need drama and want to ruin someone’s reputation. I drive over an hour and half to see him and will continue to do so. I’ve been to many Doctors and by far he is considerate , honest, and recommend him to everyone. My suggestion go there and see for yourself what a great provider he is . I was scheduled fir an appintment 1 time. Told them about my past cancer and needed to be checked again because of unexplained weight loss of almost 100 pounds in a year... I am now down 130 pounds without trying. I have seizures and am still waiting for a referral for a neurologist since March... its December! They never answer the phones. I been trying to get testing done with this doctor office for 9 months now! They never seem to call back either. I have left numerous voicemails and still nothing. I had 1 blood test done and th at was all! No tests for cancer or tb or anything at all! Nothing for my nausea or vomiting to help out. No meds for seizures. I have been in hospital for seizures sunce the doctor. They still wont answer my calls. I have called around to other doctors and nobody can get me in as a new patient soon enough. This office seems to not care about anything!!

Continued.......I have called his office several times over the years with concerns or general questions and if you are lucky you will talk to a live person with a promise of a call back but unfortunately that is not the case with me. It just seems like most of his staff, not all, are somewhat unprofessional for the most part. Ignoring patents at the front desk while eating snacks and socializing with their co-working about their social lives is a bad start. Don't get me wrong, it's just that there is a time and place for everything and that's just not it. In conclusion, when I pay to see a doctor, it's an doctor (MD) that is willing to spend at least 15 minute of his/her time with me and when I have questions or concerns or direction. And that his/her staff is professional enough to return calls or respond to voice mails in a reasonable a mount of time. Enrollment is coming up and I do believe it's time to change.

I’ve been going to the Broadway location for 2 years and still have never met my real doctor. The ladies at the front desk will ignore you and just gossip and have an entitlement in their attitude. The actual people working there are condescending and uncaring. They are very forgetful as well. I went in to get my antidepressants refilled last Friday 5/10/19 and my dosage increased and right before I left, I asked if it had been sent in. I was told the MA’s laptop had died and it would be sent in. It is now Monday 5/13/19 it has not been sent in and I called around 9:30am and again... they forgot. I will will 100% be changing my PCP.

I went into office on 12/27/18 with injured big toe. The doc looked at it and said it is just bruised. There is no swelling or redness. X-ray not needed. Nothing can be done. It will heal on it’s own. My toe has continued to hurt ALOT and so I made an appt with a podiatrist yesterday 1/21/19. One look from that doc and he said “it’s broken”. X-ray shows severe brake and I am now in a boot. This toe could be well now with an X-ray In the beginning.

Almost didn't go due to reading reviews above, but glad we did. The front desk staff, the back desk staff, and the NP's were as nice, friendly, and professional as can be. Never saw any of the bad behavior written above. Will gladly return.

Horrible I was with this clinic for years .I did pain management with them. I don’t recommend anyone go to this rude , unorganized, gossip filled doctors office. They tell everyone’s business the staff is rude and dr. Heavens keeps getting deported.
