Dr. Jason Hanna, MD

I've been recovering very well from my surgery. Pain had been minimal which I feel very fortunate about. Therapy has been going good as well. I'm still working on strengthening my muscles. I feel positive to regain my stamina for returning to work.

Dr Hanna offered conservative treatments as well as more aggressive treatments and explained all choices well. He treated me according to my comfort level with the options he offered He has a genuine caring bedside manner.

He instilled confidence in me to have the surgery. I was very fearful about it, but glad I did it. He is very kind and thoughtful. I would definitely use his expertise again if I needed it.

He is thorough and truthful with expectations. He’s a very good surgeon. He takes time to explain the situation.

Procedure followed a well planned schedule and communicated to me very well.Everyone throughout was friendly, professional and helpful.

Everything was right on time and communications were very clear.

He replaced my left knee and made sure I was taken care of. He does weekly check in that help him and you and understand what to expect.

Dr Hanna ruined my hip with a clumsy surgery!

Dr. Hanna is very professional, kind and attentive to your needs. The staff at Lutheran hospital where I had my knee replaced was “OUT STANDING!” It was obvious they all love their job and caring for others. They took all the time that was necessary to fulfill the needs I needed at any given time. I would highly recommend Lutheran Campus just from this one time of being a patient there!!! Dean was one of my favorite nurses on the overnight shift and the rest of the staff were great in there own way as well. Especially in having compassion and the love for helping others, which are the most important qualities to being in healthcare! My whole care team showed these qualities in all they did for me!! I have been confident in my decision from the start to use Dr. Hanna. My first visit to his office he came in, sat down, and answered all my questions without a rush. Every piece of the process in my knee replacement journey has been a trusted experience. From Dr Hanna to Alex, and every other person I have met with or talked to, I have been glad I was pointed in their direction. The daily check in reminders since before my surgery answered many questions about what to expect, what to watch for, and how to prepare and stay on track for a healthy recovery. I couldn't have been in better hands and would recommend Dr Hanna and his team to anyone who asks.

He does not have a great bed side manner . You can see threw it He does care about you personally .And Listens to you. If you want a Doctor who does a great job the bed side manner does not matter ! He also has a great team . I think Dr. Hanna , Alex and the team are the BEST .

Dr Hanna replaced my left knee. Communication before and after surgery was very good. He communicates with me after surgery almost daily via an online checkin process. 2 weeks after surgery I am moving about with a walker, and going through physical therapy to restore full movement. I highly recommend Dr Hanna.

Dr. Hanna is straight forward. Presents what is wrong and what is needed to be done to correct the issue, then leaves the decision up to you. Has daily follow up via email, but if there is a problem. Available to call. Very pleasant to deal with.

The professionalism of Dr. Hanna and all staff members has be exceptional. I feel as if they go over and above the normal call of duty. I would also like to mention the portal that is used to keep in touch the the patient. Very helpful and if there are any issues or concerns a staff member or possibly Dr. Hanna himself reaches out the address you concerns in a very timely manner. I would definitely state that should you choose Dr. Hanna (FWO) and his staff that you would not be disappointed with the care provided. I know it was that right choice for me. I chose to drive one and a half hours away seeking Dr.Hanna's services. This was due to the confidence I have in the Fort Wayne Orthopedics staff.

Dr. Hanna was attentive to all my needs regarding my knee replacement. Although there is some pain associated with this procedure, it was handled by proper medication and at seven days I was able to put down the walker and fully transition to walking the following day. I was climbing stairs on day 7 and have been back to work since day 15. There is still work to do to regain a full range of motion, but the pain has been eliminated. The follow-up care in person and online daily was very helpful.

Both shoulder surgeries, I'm very pleased with the way the staff listens and treats me, very thoughtful.

I have been happy with both of my knee surgeries. Dr Hanna is carrying and compent.
