Dr. Determann is a very caring and personable doctor who listens well, and gives straight forward answers with your various options. He is kind and understanding of the elderly.

Dr. Determann and the staff at Bayside Orthopedics have been nothing short of wonderful. He takes the time to explain the treatment plan and answer any questions offered. He listens to any concerns with concern himself. I highly recommend him and his office.

Dr. Determann has always made me feel comfortable, and at ease. He listens closely to everything you have to say, and takes it all into account when he's giving you a diagnosis. He's extremely thorough, and I feel like he tries to fix the problem without jumping straight to saying you need surgery. He has treated three out of four of my family members, and we trust him completely.

Dr. Determan performed my shoulder surgery on April 26th. I was soooo nervous, but he came in and prayed over me and I immediately felt secure.

I have seen Dr. Determann twice regarding a fractured patella. He is very professional, knowledgeable and kind. These are all things that I look for in a physician. The one thing I dislike more than anything else regarding a physician is if that particular physician makes me feel as if I’m one of a herd of cattle coming through. Therefore, I feel as if he or she does not care about me one way or the other. I get the exact opposite feeling from Dr. Determann. He really cares about my well-being and is willing to answer all of my questions and spend time with me. He is truly a good man and a good physician. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Determann is the best orthopedic doctor I have had. He is caring, listens and explains everything. He does not rush his patients, he takes whatever time is needed. I highly recommend him!
