cruel rules
My wife has so much pain that she frequently cries....BUT since she has not seen Dr. Deluca since 2013 'they' have to treat her as a new patientand first appt would not be for THREE months... this is INSANITY and hope that Dr. Deluca will try to do something to change 'the system'

Hard to say how my experience was because I can’t seem to get an appointment. I’ve heard from people at Dr DeLuca is a very good doctor, but his office staff is The worst I have ever come across! I have my doctor referral to him. My info was faxed three times and they insisted they never received it, so I got copies from my doctor delivered it in person and still no appointment ! Talk to Girl at the front desk. I think her name was Cindy. Give her the info that I would like to set up an appointment. She said she call me in about two days To let me know. I asked why she couldn’t just set the appointment. She said the gal who does the appointment may have already set up a file on me. Any person that cares about their job or their patients would have picked up the phone to find out or walk 30 feet down the hall to ask. This is a pain institute isn’t it? I’m going there because I’m in pain and I would like treatment! Apparently taking care of the patient is above her paygrade!!!

Terrible office staff, billing, communication
Dr. Deluca is an excellent doctor, but the office staff, record keeping, billing, and communication are absolutely horrible. No one should ever have to be forced to make a decision to give up successful pain management due to the ineptness of the employees. Yes, it was that bad.

Dr. DeLuca - National Pain Institute
Dr. DeLuca is very thorough, patient and understanding. My husband and I have been his patient for a number of years and we definitely recommend him. They have outgrown there clinical side of the office, but don’t let that deter you from going there. He is very good .

I am very impressed with Dr. Deluca. I believe he is an excellent pain management specialist. However I find their phone support to be extremely lacking and downright unprofessional. Many, many times I have tried to schedule appointments in the Lady Lake office, and my phone calls have gone unreturned. And just now I learn that the office is closed for the holidays and I am out of meds. I have been repeatedly told that the problem is going to be fixed, but again it has not. Obviously I am very frustrated.

Great Doctor. He asks great questions of you and listens to what you have to say, you have time to ask questions of him as well. Together you come up with a plan that works for you. Appointments are typically very close to on-time so you won't sit for hours in this office. Anesia, AnnMarie, Heather and Laura are great! This office cares about its patients.

Dr Deluca and Dr Ferro and the entire staff at Lady Lake were wonderful. Answered all of my questions and were very helpful in suggesting proper therapy. The entire office staff had a super positive attitude. Thanks.

Saw the doctor for 10 minutes and he decided that he would cut my meds significantly without benefit of my previous medical records, any diagnostic tests, nor physical exam. After he cut 40% I was in intense pain. I called, 3 times no return call. Went there 3 times to see him. Staff kept me from seeing him. Horrible all around.

Crappy Experience -- Watch out for staff – Feb 10, 2020

After 2 years of back and leg pain, I was referred to Dr. DeLuca. He listed to my story did an exam a booked me for facet joint injection, lumbar. After the 12 injections over 4 appointments, I am completely pain-free. As a consequent, I highly recommend Dr. DeLuca at Lady Lake Office.
