Trying to Rectify Problem
Since my last review, Dr. Cormier and his staff are trying to do everything they can to help me with the pain I am still experiencing. Hopefully since I am the book and we are on the same page, something will get done. I am very appreciative that they are all working to help me.

Dr. Cormier is an excellent surgeon. He did my husband’s surgery a week ago Tuesday and he’s doing great. He knows what he doing and I would definitely recommend anyone needing back surgery to see him.

Excellent doctor with a incommunitive nurse practioner who is more than likely to misdiagnose your problem and won't return phone calls. Staff appears not very friendly and concerned. This problem will more than likely cause you along time of suffering before treatment. Can not recommend Dr. Cormier because of this.

I’ve already recommended this all star physician. How incredible to have a reliable doctor who listens WELL, is patient, and isn’t ready to cut because he has the title of surgeon. He’s ready to help pave your way to health and healing through all avenues. He recognizes different forms of therapy, supplements, and medicine while fighting for what’s right for the patient. He even gave me questions to ask my GP because he caught some things in my medication that could have been bothering me. Be patient with appointment times, it’s 100% worth it because he is there to listen so he can make a proper assessment.

He was so kind and thoughtful. He sat with me in the dark since I had light sensitivity pain in head. He put in a VP shunt right away with 100% pain free. Keeping it balanced has been a challenge but that’s my body not the dr. But he’s there every time I need.

Dr. Cormier is without a doubt a super intelligent neurosurgeon. Unfortunately the after care I received was poor. First post op appointment I was seen only by his LPN who could not answer questions particular about my surgery. Appointments got cancelled and rescheduled only to be cancelled again and again. You have to start calling one week in advance to get medication refills. Worst experience ever.

There is not enough room here for my review. I will say that Dr. Cormier is a wonderful surgeon. His staff (not all of them) is not so great. The select few are rude and very unprofessional. In reading other reviews, I see I'm not the only one that feels that way. Seems like he should address that.

Dr. Cormier is excellent. His office, not so much. They don't call you for rescheduled appointments. They don't call you even after you leave multiple messages. They really need someone to get in there and straighten the office to make it better for the patient. When I told the assistant what had happened to me, she looked at me like I was lying. Very unprofessional.

TS- Dr. Cormier is excellent in all facets of his practice! If you need surgery he will tell you, if you don't he will have you try other treatment options, rather than performing surgery. You can't find honesty like this with some surgeons who think going under the knife is the only solution. Very ethical, thorough, friendly and experienced. Would recommend him to anyone for treatment.

Office personal does a poor job contacting the insurance to get procedures done. They cancel appointments and don't call to tell you they rescheduled for another day and they fail to tell you they expect you to bring reports and disk when it's written on the dr's orders for the imaging center to send information to the dr's office. When you have an appointment, it's likely you will not see Cormier. He has no time to see his patients, he's not a people person to say the least. Not happy

After waiting for 5 months to see Dr Cormier my husband received a phone today to advise him Dr Cormier is not accepting new Medicare patients. My husband waited a month just to get an appointment which was 2 months away only to have that appointment changed to 4 months later. Dr Cormier had performed surgery on my husband's back so now we are we are having problems finding another Dr to see him. The office staff knew he was on Medicare from the 1st call when the appointment was made.
