Unreachable and aloof
My elderly parent loves Dr Confino and thinks he is a great doctor, however as their caregiver, I think he is absolutely terrible. There is no direct line to call his office and if you try calling through the main line of the medical center, no one ever answers. There is no way to message his office through MyChart and if they happen to message you, they don't allow responses. I brought this up to him at my parent's last appointment and he played surprised and stupid that you can't reach him, offering no solutions on how to reach him in a moment of need. Again, my parent loves him, but I feel he is too aloof/dismissive and doesn't seem to want to be proactive or investigate things that are potentially of concern. My parent has had some issues come up recently and during this last appointment he offered no explanations for why they were happening or any desire to look deeper into the situation. Finally, he is impossible to see quickly. His availability is nearly half a year out.

Takes an ekg and tells me I have an extra heart beat and he will see me again in a year. Charged $300.00 for doing nothing!!! Grade F. Worst doctor I have ever seen!
