No, I woul not recommend him to anyone. He scheduled me for a much needed surgery & when I showed up at the hosptal at 5am like I was told, I was told he cancelled me! No reason, didn't even have the decency to call me to let me know!

Dr Michalik did my vsg surgery and gallbladder removal. He is awesome and definitely informs you of all your options.

Dr. Michalik Becomes very demanding (to perform surgery), when I choose to get a 2nd opinion. This happened twice. When I get second opinions, I don't need the surgery that Dr. Michalik seems so eager to perform. I have diverticulitis, other Dr.'s tell me they prefer to treat with antibiotics until the infection is better! Dr. michalik also offered to do a procedure on me at Sullivan after the ER told me Sullivan needed to transfer me due to lack of CT camera. I was refused this in writing
