DR. Chowdury is an amazing psychiatrist. She is patient and kind wants to see you at your best, and wants you to succeed in life. If you're in need of a consultation or are suffering from a mental condition, look no further. I highly recommend booking an appointment with her.

Dr Chowdhury, genuinely cares and is very attentive. Her willingness to listen and understand your concerns is a priority for her. Her ability to set the tone towards a healing path is unique as she takes the approach of healing of the mind, spirit and body as a whole. I highly recommend her!

Frustrating and scary. Dr. Chowdhurry had me taking 2 SSRI drugs. After increasing MG of one I experienced terrible effects if serotonin syndrome. Rushed to ER, was taken off both drugs cold turkey and spent 4 days in hospital. Once released I was instructed to contact her immediately to manage the aftermath of being taken off all drugs, she first told me she would be in touch in a month after she returned from vacation then immediately sent me a letter dropping me as a patient. Horrific. She took no accountability and abandoned her patient. Do not recommend.

I have seen her for the last 4 years and have had a major turnaround in my mental health because she takes her time to listen and gain a better understanding of my health and history. She has built a strong doctor-patient relationship with me, which has made me feel comfortable and confident in her care. When it comes to prescriptions, Dr. Chowdhury went through my medical history to learn about what worked and what didn't work to determine the best course of action for my medical care. I strongly recommend Dr. Chowdhury to anyone who is looking for psychiatric care.

Dr. Chowdhury is one of the kindest and most compassionate physicians I have ever seen. I highly recommend her.

She cancelled my appointment that I was waiting on for over 2 months, rationing my medications just to make it to that appointment. (I get it, people get sick) but… :/ The next available isn’t for 2 more months. I asked to be put on a cancellation list but it looks like Im going to be suffering until I can get the next appointment.

Dr. Chowdhury is the first psychiatrist that I have seen following a cancer diagnosis with subsequent anxiety and depression. I can not say enough about how kind, truly caring, and patient Dr. Chowdury has been. Her medical expertise in choosing the most effective medications to stabilize my mood, and her calm demeanor have helped me tremendously. I could not ask for a better, more competent doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Chowdhury for a year or two now and she really cares about me and wants to see me happy. She always encourages me to let her know if I think my depression is coming. I can always get in touch with her through the portal and she always answers me within a day. I would recommend this lady to anyone who struggles with bipolar disorder or major depression. She wants to see you happy, and will do anything in her power to make it happen. I I love love love this woman. I do not care for Alabama psychiatry as a business, and would prefer that I could see her without dealing with them.

My OBGYN set me up with Dr. Chowdhury. I was one month post-partum and my brother passed away suddenly at 30 years old. My world crashed down and I saw no light at the end of the tunnel. Dr. Chowdhury was that light for me. Here I am 9 months post partum and 8 months since losing my brother and she has changed my life for the better in more ways then one. I highly recommend. She understands life can be hard and is there to help you every step of the way. I reached out to her after hours and she got back with me. She truly cares about her clients and I can't say enough good things.

Dr. Chowdhury has been such a blessing to me! I started to see her in 2020 for severe panic attacks, depression, anxiety and adult ADHD.
