Dr. Jared Friedman, MD

My recent experience with Dr. Jared Friedman was appalling. Despite advertising 24-7 concierge service, he was dismissive when we brought our baby to the ER at Joe DiMaggio Hospital. We explained that our baby had symptoms of respiratory obstruction at home, was unable to feed, and that steroids were the only treatment that had previously helped. Dr. Friedman told us not to come unless the baby was cyanotic—turning blue—which delayed crucial care. We requested that our baby be admitted, believing there was an underlying issue, but he denied the request. Unfortunately, we ended up at Holtz Children’s ER later that night when the symptoms returned after the steroids wore off. This led to further complications and unnecessary prolonged steroid use for our baby. A very sad and frustrating experience.

Dr. Friedman listen to my concerns and answered my questions After my daughter had been experiencing a fever for 6 days he wanted to do additional testing and FINALLY was able to get some answers. Thank you doctor!

I see him as a bias provider pushing his beliefs on medicine. He never listened to my sons lung sound after he received one treatment. Never came to discuss labs with me and just left me uneasy and baffled about the care my son was given.
