I like Dr. Cook, but the wait was unacceptable. My appointment was at 4 o’clock and I got there at 20 till four. I was called in the back at 4:10 and I didn’t get to see Dr. Cook, until 453. At no point did anybody come back and tell me why I had to wait so long. I wouldn’t be so upset if someone would’ve came back and said the doctor is running late.

Dr Cooke gave me the information and direction I needed.

1hr 45min from appt time before I saw the doctor. Barely touched my back, didn't feel for anything or ask many questions, hardly read my chart -- told me to do PT and followup MRI and gave me strong NSAID but no real diagnosis, info, things to avoid or to do, hand was on the exit doorknob within maybe a minute. Office couldn't confirm if XRays would be covered by insurance but acted like they were mandatory, doctor explained they're more routine screening and likely wouldn't help diagnose my issue. I had to press for more interaction and to give details and get more information, when I pressed he gave responses and seemed very knowledgeable. Experience felt very 'churn and burn' and not like enough attention was put on my concerns unless I advocated for it myself. I plan to follow up since I'm halfway in, I hope it was just a very busy day but not a good feeling when you're concerned for your wellbeing and exploring imaging and potential surgeries even.

Dr Cooke was pleasant and professional and made an excellent referral.

Dr. Cooke treated me with excellent care and his staff was generous. I was in pain and he exam me and informed me thoroughly about my condition. I felt like he really care about me and he gave me information that insured me he will do everything possible to help my condition. I felt good about how I was treated when I left today. Services was excellent.

I wasn't feeling well and the problem wasn't with my C spine. Dr. Cooke is very observant, always caring and through. He became concerned about my condition and had EMTs take me over to SLH where I was diagnosed with pneumonia and some heart rhythm issues.Dr. Cooke has been following me for mild spinal stenosis and moderate to severe forminal stenosis, managing the pain and postponing surgical intervention as I wish for now. He is thoroughly professional, yet kind and careful that his patient has a full understanding of the condition and treatment options.

After he review current X-rays and past test results he saw the problem and referred me to a vascular surgeon for one part of issue and pain management for another issue. I was eased with his care and interest in helping me.
