Realistic and helpful
We've had three children visit Dr Leathers, oldest is 5, and none have had any health issues beyond usual daycare viruses. Dr Leathers has always been quick, thorough, and precise with her diagnosis and recommendations, matching our concern but always making sure we don't spiral into unreasonable worry. She doesn't over-prescribe meds when rest would do it, and always gives realistic recovery timelines. One time when we only talked with a triage nurse about a fever or something, she called back the next day to check in. Outside of sicknesses, we've always loved how she tracks our children's development and gives us realistic goals. As a parent herself, her advice has always been accessible and useful. Would recommend her to friends or family without a second thought.

Bubbly and Energetic - Great for Kids!
Dr. Leathers is very perky and very knowledgeable. She is so affirming to us as parents and genuinely seems to like seeing my kids. She is very down to earth and reassuring about things that probably overly worry me, and she has also shown she can respectfully push us as parents the one time she had a concern about our son.

She interrupted me multiple times before I could even finish my thought. Wouldn’t make eye contact. She spoke so fast that I could not even process what she was saying half the time. Eye contact seemed to be a personal struggle for her. I wouldn’t take my fish here needless to say.

Dr Leathers is the best doctor I have ever taken my kid too. She is full of energy and takes the time to answer all my questions. She is one of the best finds and would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a pediatrician! My child has never felt so comfortable.

I have seen many pediatric doctors over the years for my 12-year old daughter and Dr. Leathers is by far the worst I have ever seen! Her over the top bubbly personality was very unsettling and made me uncomfortable the minute she walked into the room. She is extremely arrogant and very self-righteous. She might ask questions, but does not hear what you or your child have to say. I do not recommend her under any circumstance.

Dr. Leathers was the best pediatrician I have ever come across. And I had a fantastic one in Illinois so the bar is extremely high. My son has a heart condition, and she not only made me feel at ease but she also was able to make my child feel at ease. And he definitely knows about Dr's, having a couple surgeries and procedures under his belt under the age of 2. He's not the most comfortable baby in this environment. And you would have never guessed, the way he warmed up to the staff here.
