Dr. Janet Hamby, MD

Dr. J Hamby is a great doctor and professional but the office staff needs help! After the 2nd visit experience mistakes made by the office cancelling me the day of the appointment and rescheduling to cancelling again this is certaintly not how appointments work my time is more valuable.

She’s absolutely wonderful. Takes time with her patients. Detail oriented and goes above and beyond. Truly love having her as my doctor.

Kind, caring, compassionate Dr… VERY BUSY, and you are her concern when she’s in your room.

I love Dr. Hamby and Nurse Amanda(think that's correct). I've been going there the past 3yrs and never had any sort of issues. She always makes sure I'm doing fine and can tell her anything necessary for my health. I honestly couldn't ask for a better OBGYN.

Dr. Hamby is the absolute best! She goes above and beyond what other doctors do. She made a point to make me feel comfortable and did her best to follow my birth plan. Her staff is also very nice and I never waited longer than ten minutes.

Dr Hamby took wonderful care of me when I started seeing her at 32 weeks pregnant. We had just moved to the area (military) and she took so much time to listen to me, understand my history and what I needed/wanted for this birth. She made me feel so comfortable and like I had known her forever. I had been so worried to start seeing a new OB so late in my pregnancy but I will 100% recommend her to others and definitely see her for my next pregnancy

My experience with this dr was not good.. I ended up moving and having my baby somewhere else but i had been diagnosed by another doctor with eclampsia and gestational diabetes while this doctor said i was perfectly fine. I literally almost lost my life because i wasnt treated for the very high blood pressure i had since i became pregnant and the diabetes i was told i didnt have, when i did. I dont recommend this doctor.

I had an early induction which ended up being a c section and have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. hamby. If we were going to still be here when we are ready for our 2nd baby, I would definitely go with her again. She was informative, comforting, reassuring, professional, and caring. And whenever I had an issue, she was there to address it as soon as she could be.

Horrible staff! I was told she was the only female OBGYN in Crestview, so they can that people however they wish... because they are in such high demand. I was told this by the NURSE! I was also told that my ruptured complex ovarian cyst, and the other complex ovarian cysts weren't a medical issue that would need me to be seen within the next 3 months. I am so thankful for Dr. Hamby and her staff! They were very helpful, caring, and got things done in a very timely manner.

Uncaring and unprofessional describes this Dr and her staff. I felt she talked down to me and didn't take my concerns about my medication seriously. Long wait times considering I only get to see her for like two minutes; appointments feel very rushed, like she has better things to be doing than helping me.

I don't know what is with majority of doctors in Crestview they are uncaring and rude. I've been experiencing pelvic pain really bad, my regular physician didn't do anything he finally gave me referral for hamby, she didn't care one bit made me out like I was looking for pain medication, they finally did ultrasound found I have fibroids on my uterus didn't want to treat me. She doesn't listen. The staff is rude and never returns. And the nurse Lauren always gets your info wrong and is the rudest

I was supposed to be a new paitient and I was told Dr Hamby was amazing and always warned about how her staff was rude and even going through reviews I read how her staff is rude, uncaring, mean, and just always in a bad mood and I just didn't think that a doctor so highly recommended would surround herself with such unprofessional people so I went against my gut. Incompetent and negligent nurse Lauren. Long wait time est 1.5 hours. Doctor was remorseful for long wait. Had to repeat myself and they still didnt get information correct.

Very unprofessional and left me with a life threatening issue for 6 mths before I discovered it myself when I requested my records. She is horrible!!!!!
