Has become a elitist
Dr Semel has essentially abandoned her long time patients stating she is “too busy” for them. I have been a patient with her for over 15 yrs and was diagnosed with Ocular Melanoma 5yrs ago. Now that I’m stable she is handing me off to a new doctor in her practice. She has no sense of loyalty to long term patients so I won’t extend any to her or her office. I’m finding a new doctor altogether!

I have many vision challenges. Dr.Semel and her staff has been able to work with me in valuable ways. Dr. Semel is knowledgable, detailed and patient. I have been truly fortunate to have found her. She has explained things that I have never had ophthalmologists take the time to do. I wish I knew her years earlier it would have saved much of my vision. I f you want an excellent Dr. who can work with you proactively, I highly recommend Dr. Semel.
