Incompetent
Dr Reid was incompetent. Wanted to admit my husband to the hospital I suspect because she couldn’t interpret a simple EKG or determine the normalcy of lab values. When we refused and stated we would follow up with a specialist the following day her parting comment was a flippant “I hope I’m wrong.” Well to no surprise of mine , she WAS wrong. This doctor shouldn’t be practicing emergency medicine. I had my husbands lab results two hours before she even came back in his room and when she finally did her solution to his bought of gas was to admit him. I guess that would have drummed up more money for the hospital. We didn’t fall for it.

If I could give her a 0 I would. Did not have the decency to follow-up with me on a recent ER/ED visit after ordering a series of tests. Nurse was not able to go over tests. Plan of care was not communicated to me. Literally spent 2-3 minutes in the room and never saw her again after 6 hours in the ER/ED prior to being transferred. I asked to see her and told that "she is moving on." Whatever that means.
