Dr. Miles is totally lacking in empathy. I missed my 2nd virtual appointment because I was not able to login since my account was locked due to entering an incorrect password. I called the office to let them know I couldn't login. She insisted on charging me over $200 for that missed appt. She was in the middle of changing my medication. She won't let me schedule another appointment without paying that ridiculous fee that I can't afford. She has left me without medication or a Dr. And it could take weeks or months for me to schedule an appointment with anyone else. She is obviously not interested in helping patients and has zero concern for their wellbeing.

The receptionist is the real issue with this place. Really quite a rude individual- even outside of his cold demeanor on the phone for appointment reminders. We actually had to call the cops on this guy in the office's parking lot because he was shouting at my mother and blocking her in to his apparent "designated parking spot" when the parking lot was completely empty around quarantine in 2021. This guy evidently has no issue harassing and scaring possible patients in their own parking lot. He later put up a sign in that spot saying DO NOT PARK HERE. Anger issues for sure. Perhaps he could use some counseling/ med management himself. The practice itself is a nice place, the treatment I received was about as adequate as it gets. As an adult receiving treatment I got the impression the doctor mostly deals with kids/ their parents.

Never ever has a doctor's office GIVEN ME ANXIETY before dealing with this practice. After lots of phone tag, finally made an appt. When day comes, I get there 30 minutes early as instructed and knock on LOCKED door for 10 minutes, while also calling 2 office numbers - neither of which is getting answered. Finally a woman (Dr. Miles) answers the door. Apparently my appt isn't for another 45 MINUTES! The male receptionist told me the WRONG TIME. I spend 2 minutes filling out papers and then waste 43 minutes of my life. Dr. Miles calls me to her office: I leave with no different treatment plan. I call a month later, asking about another medication as a possibility, left a voicemail. I then play phone tag: 2 VERY cantankerous voicemails left for me state, " we do NOT ANSWER THE PHONE, YOU NEED to answer when we call you" verbatim...I'm not making this up! I've never left anything but positive feedback for physicians offices, but this place...seriously needs to reevaluate how they treat pa

Dr. Miles may seem a little stand offish at first with adults but she is wonderful with kids. She is very thorough and spends a lot of time thinking about her cases and talking with us.

Very compassionate yet objective in her work w/ my teen autistic son. Was thorough by running an easy genetic test to make sure my son is on best medication. Also makes medication changes step by step to ensure smoother transitions, plus wants to be sure that my son doesn't have a heart condition before starting a particular new med. While she may be a little "old school' in her communication methods, she is very kind and concerned w/full health of my child. You just work within her system.

She is the WORST psychiatrist I have ever met. First of all all, she has not email, accepts no credit cards and only deals in copies and mail, not even faxes. Fine. But after I provide a huge tree of paperwork on my child's background, she spend 15 minutes with him. On his second visit, my son was late (my fault) and she berated him "why would your parents allow you to be late?!?" to a boy with depression. I wanted my files back and they wanted $100 for her "notes." DON'T GO TO HER!

Her assistant is unbelievably rude and all she does is ask you to fill questionnaires instead of listening to her patients. Not warm at all. There are much, much better psychiatrists in DFW. This is NOT a good one.
