I was sent to Dr. Hobbs by my primary care provider because I had found a lump in my breast and also enlarged lymph nodes in my neck. He did a brief (neck-only) exam and asked me some questions. He pronounced nothing wrong with me. He had me get several tests done anyway, “ just to be sure “. He never explained what he was looking for in the tests or what he was trying to rule out, or the purpose of the tests. The assistant told me that the tests came back “normal “. That was all I was ever told. The following week I had a breast biopsy and find that I have breast cancer. I’m very disappointed with the care that I received from Dr. Hobbs and his staff.

I have had an unfortunate experience both during his office visit as well as speaking with his nurse. When I left his office I did not feel informed despite asking him to repeat or explain details of my possible diagnosis. Instead, he spoke in a very condescending tone. Shortly after the visit, I called to follow up on a mixup on their part and spoke with a nurse who spoke to me in a way that exhibited unprofessionalism to which some of her statements clearly lacked integrity.

I went to Dr. Hobbs and will not be going back. He didn’t acknowledge me when he walked in. He talked to me, as well as his assistant condescendingly. I went with reports from an ultrasound that he REFUSED to even look at. Dr. Hobbs did a BRIEF physical examination and decided there was absolutely nothing wrong. Despite the fact that my DR and the ultrasound picture reported there was something wrong. This DR was rude, condescending and brief. He was awful and I don’t trust him.

A poor choice. Rude, socially inept, has a very high opinion of himself, and tends to be verbally abusive. He is God's gift to medicine, and you are nothing. I do not trust his decisions, even after three visits, so I have transferred to another ENT.
