Super physician
Dr. Weisman is of the rare breed of old time physicians. You may wait to see her, but when you are in her office, you are the one! She is attentive, careful, empathetic and incredibly bright and thoughtful as she discusses the diagnosis and treatment options with you.She is one of my favorite physicians and I am blessed to be able to see her!

HEALING RMEDEY
When a herpes infection occurs, it typically triggers an outbreak of sores near where the virus entered the body. These sores turn into blisters, which can become painful and itchy before healing. The first herpes outbreak is typically more severe and may be accompanied by body aches, a fever, or swollen and painful lymph nodes. Additional outbreaks typically occur several times a year, though they usually become less frequent over time. Bad policy in office
My mother enjoyed meeting Dr. Wiesman. Unfortunately, she saw her at 8 AM this morning and we have yet to have the prescription called in… Apparently their practice is to call in prescriptions at the end of the day. That is bad practice. Why not take the time when you see the patient to hand them a prescription or send it to the pharmacy then? This medication is very expensive (greater than $400) likely has to be special ordered… So we will not get it by the end of the business day. The office manager called to tell me about their pharmacy policy and practically hung up on me, just rude defending their policy. I am in healthcare, and this is not how you treat your patient.

Great visit
I have HS and have been unable to find the right Dermatologist, until Dr. Weisman. She took her time and listened to me and looked at all of my problem areas. Never had a Dr do that. It’s usually in and out in 10 minutes and off to their next patient. It’s been only a week and I’m seeing improvement already.

Great at the beginning, bad at the end
I have been going to Dr. Weisman for 6 years. She and her PA have helped me quite a bit with my eczema journey, from courses of steroids to Dupixent, which was really life-changing. As others have noted, I have not seen Dr. Weisman since my first year with the practice, and especially recently. I understand Dr. Weisman has some fears regarding the coronavirus, but even with masks and vaccines, I had not seen her in at least 4 years. I have had to leave this practice recently due to an issue with their office staff. I had to get a prior authorization from them for my insurance to cover Dupixent, and I called them at least 7 times; I have had to call repeatedly before this point as well. I left several messages, asking them to call in the prior authorization and to please contact me when they did so. They took an unacceptably long time to get back to me, making my medication lapse as I could not get insurance coverage. I will not be returning to Medical Dermatology Specialists.

I have been an off and on patient of Dr. Weisman for several years. I have had terrible experiences every time I’ve gone. I have never felt so ashamed of my body after her constant criticizing. Let me just say I know I’m big. I know I need to loose weight. On my last visit she told me I would never be able to loose weight on my own that I would have to have gastric bypass surgery. She pushed the surgery so hard to that I ended up switching doctors. I would like to add I’ve almost lost 100 pounds without surgery. Dr. Weisman also doesn’t check the drug interactions with other medications that you are on. She put me on one medication that instantly made me manic and severely depressed. The next day I went off of it as per my pharmacist advice. The whole office there is a mess and super unorganized. I highly recommend going to the Emory Clinic. They are 100x more professional and put together.

Dr. Weismann treated my husband, Buzz Krafft. We really liked her. She referred him to an Oncologist and he died within 4 months. His condition had become systemic. My personal belief is that she should have referred us sooner. He would have lost this fight anyway but had we gotten ahead of the spread of his condition, he could have had a longer and better quality life. She told is his CTCL would not kill him. We believed her. She was wrong.

After my husband's third month with this office, and medicine refills not followed up on. Rude staff. Our insurance is billed as if we see Dr. Weissman, yet we've never even met her. She's rescheduled every appointment we've set, and wants my husband to only see and shake the hand of her PA. The PA Lisa is wonderful, however, were paying for Dr.Weissman, she should at least want to meet her patient. Also, his Humira ran out due to HER rescheduling two appointments in a row. The office then refus

I made an appointment with the distinct understanding that I would see Dr. Weisman. When I showed up for the appointment I was ushered back to see a Physicians Assistant. No explanation was given to me. I was basically told Dr. Weisman was too busy. I resent the non refundable photocopying fee charged to patients. I was told I would be sent to collections after the office of Dr. Weisman insisted I was responsible for the United Healthcare Contractual write off.
