Was told that I would have two incisions for a breast tumor. One to harvest limp nodes and one in the area of the tumor. Came out of surgery with one incision. Limp nodes checked out OK! Biopsy showed no cancer cells. Had to have a second surgery to get the tumor. Second surgery was preformed by another surgeon. This was very traumatic. My tumor was in the lower part of my breast, and no way he could have gotten to it from high incision where limp nodes are.

Straight and to the point
He asked what was happening, how long, just got right to the point. Didn’t beat around the bush! Would definitely go to again in the future

Was very nice but very dismissive of my concerns before surgery. He didn’t seem to care about how I was feeling or progressing after surgery. Had a complication after surgery with infection and healing and the way he handled it was unprofessional. I strongly believe he is the reason that I’ve had so many issues after surgery and have found another doctor.

Me and my husband both had to have hernia repairs. Dr Patel's mesh placement for my husband did not stay and he had to have a second surgery in2 weeks (He went to a different doctor). My repair has always been uncomfortable and now I need a 2nd repair after 3 years. He is very friendly but didnt do a very good job with either of us.
