Best physician I have seen. Excellent training and experience but also caring and took extra time. Helped me through a very difficult time. Explained everything. Office is clean, neat and organized. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Offers options for care that cannot be found elsewhere. Truly a local treasure. If you are struggling, call her office for care. Thank you Dr. Jamie!

Not what i was expecting
I was encouraged to see Dr. Fernandez for Spravato. She rushed my through my consultation and became impatient, almost irritated when I asked questions about treatment side effects. My friend did some research on cms open payments and it all makes sense.

I have been under the care of Dr. Jamie Fernandez for sometime now for the treatment of ECT due to depression. This doctor is outstanding and I have the utmost respect for the care that she has provided for me at the hospital. She has outstanding bedside care for each patient. A great personality. I had great service from each and everyone of the staff. I recommend anyone that has resistance depression to contact Dr. Fernandez.

Dr. Jamie has been my doctor for several years for TRD (Treatment Resistant Depression). Since I do not tolerate meds well, we used ECT for a time for treatment with good results. However, other health issues made ECT unviable for me. Fortunately, Dr. Jamie is qualified to administer Spravato, a new inhaled med. It has been a real lifesaver for me. I am now enjoying all the things I once did....I have been rebooted! Dr. Jamie has always been accessible to me, and her staff has always bent over backward to assist patients in their care. I would not hesitate to recommend this doctor and her staff to other patients seeking quality care.

Dr. Fernandez and her staff are professional and efficient. I feel fortunate that I’m am a patient of Dr. Fernandez. I feel that my mental and physical wellbeing has greatly improved. I appreciate the assistance that the office manager,Pam, in being accepted as a new patient. Dr. Fernandez is a highly educated and skilled doctor who is well respected in her field of psychiatry.

Hands down the best psychiatrist I have ever gone to. She pinpointed my needs immediately and gave me exactly what I needed. I had been to 4 difference psychiatrists and no one could get it right. She got it right the very very first time. That's impressive. She actually listens to everything you say. Make the choice to call Dr. Fernandez. You won't regret it! I definitely recommend Dr. Fernandez!

I have found Dr. Jamie Fernandez to be extremely compassionate, considerate, highly skilled and knowledgeable in rendering specific treatment for her individual patient needs. She is approachable, and I trust her completely. She was originally recommended to me by a physician I greatly admired and respected at USF. I have found (through the years) that she surrounds herself with an equally-caring staff, and have no reservations whatsoever in recommending her care to others.
