Dr. Jamie Durfey, MD

My husband found Dr Durfey when she was a resident & he went to the ER. He was so impressed he became a patient as soon as she graduated. By going to his appointments & seeing how she treated him in a way that showed she not only listened, but kept us involved in the decision process, she was smart, kind and cared. I wasn't happy with my Dr at the time so I became a patient of Dr. Durfey and I am so glad I did. With several health issues, she has helped me improve my health and my quality of life greatly. I have great respect for her, she genuinely knows who we are our health issues & what's in our charts at every visit. She is on top of getting lab results to us quickly taking action when a treatment or referral is required. We both are in better health today under her care then we were before finding her. She has never left us feeling confused or wondering what's happening. If you want a Dr that is smart, caring, kind,listens, takes action then look no farther Dr Durfey is it.

Dr. Durfey is by far the best doctor I have ever had. She takes time to really listen and engage in a very respectful manner. She genuinely cares about the well being of her patients.

Never made to feel like she made me feel. So disappointed...

She didn't see anything concerning with my test results, thankfully another doctor did and alerted me to the problem. If your health is important to you, find another doctor.

Dr Durfey is by far the best Dr I've used so far. I've had a few other Cox physicians that I have been to over the years (won't name them), and was not impressed at all. I won't be switching again though. Finally found a great doctor. Extremely knowledgeable, actually listens to and considers what you have to say, and is very personable. I hope none of you reading this decides to switch though... I don't want her schedule to start getting so clogged that I can't get an appointment.

I've been a patient of Dr. Durfey since 2012. I am a nurse, and I have more than 15 years of medical experience, and I HIGHLY recommend her! She's extremely human, you know without a doubt that she's standing beside you as you're seeking answers, and I have never felt judged by her. She even took time to come and check on my baby girl who'd been admitted from ER to inpatient, despite being the PCP vs. the admitting doc. She has seen the scariest times in my life, and we'd never go anywhere else!

Dr. Durfey is a wonderful listener and makes me feel like my concerns are valid and important. She explains the variety of options and allows me to make a choice about treating whatever I came to talk about.

She is wonderful. A very good listener and seems to really care for you.
