I can't believe all the negativity I'm seeing here. I first went to Dr. Zumpano for a blood pressure issue and I feel as though I've always been treated fantastically. The thing that impressed me most about Dr. Zumpano is unlike most GPs I've been to in the past, there is absolutely zero holier-than-thou, you-must-change-your-lifestyle-completely attitude. Sure, he'll tell you if you need to lose weight, stop eating junk food, or what not, but he's not a self-righteous jerk about it. He understands that you're human and have slips, and is very encouraging. I would recommend Dr. Zumpano to anyone in search of a primary.

I find Dr. Zumpano one of the most caring and compassionate doctors that I have met with. He listens and then thoroughly explains his diagnoses so that I can understand the issue and the cure. I would highly recommend him to any of my family or friends.

Dr. Zumpano is a very experienced physician who takes the time to get to know his patients and treats them like friends and family. The office is friendly and accommodating, and they usually take urgent appointments on the same day.

Dr. Zumpano provided poor medical care to my mother when she was very ill with complications. She visited Dr. Zumpano and was sent home and told she had a virus. After two weeks of still not feeling better, she called his office. After not hearing back from anyone she called back at the end of the day. The receptionist said he left a note for her to wait it out. He never even called to see what was wrong. She ended up in the ER the next day. Very poor medical provider!!

Dr. Zumpano is the visiting doctor at a rehab facility in CT. My dad was staying in the rehab facility, Dr. Zumpano showed up for rounds; he stuck his head in my dad's door, said Hi, I am the doctor on call here, how are you feeling? My dad said, I cannot exercise and do rehab because I cannot breathe. Dr. Zumpano replied, Then don't exercise, walked away, charged my dad $275 and my dad passed away a week later. Sounds dramatic but is entirely true. This is disgraceful.
