I will never accept care from this provider

I was in the ER due to a severe asthma attack and the ER doctor forgot to prescribe a spacer for my inhaler. The following day, I laid in bed sick and had to call the on call Dr. to prescribe the spacer. Dr. Yoss called back audibly irritated with me for calling which was alarming because this is his job and to a physician angry with you for calling after hours is absurd. I continued on with my request. I explained to Dr. Yoss I was in the ER the day before and what I needed. After explaining what I needed, I heard Dr. Yoss take a deep sigh and I said, “I’m sorry, am I bothering you?” Dr. Yoss responded and said, “Actually, you are! Why would you wait until the end of the day when the office is closed to call and ask for a dang spacer? You had all day!” I immediately became emotional and offended that a medical provider would speak to me in tone and manner he did. I am the one who is sick and needed care and support. He clearly is incapable of doing that. He is a horrible provider!

A really good dr
A knowledgeable personable doctor. I am a precious patient, having moved 1000 miles away. I miss having a doctor as efficient as Dr Yoss, particularly where I live now. If you are on the SF area, he is a great choice.

I has such an unexpectedly great experience with Dr. Yoss. I say unexpectedly because I have been so accustomed to doctors rushing through appointments and not being fully present. Dr. Yoss spent nearly 45 minutes with me on my first appointment and thoroughly reviewed my medical history. He was caring and thorough and I felt right at ease with him. I couldn't recommend him enough. Very professional and friendly.
