Dr. James Yanes, MD

I’m a lot of work and have many health issues that need to be dealt with. He has helped me turn most of them around. Dr. Yanes has always been patient, kind and thoughtful. He is very thorough and leaves no stone uncovered in his treatment of me. I never feel judged by him. He offers great advice and I trust him 100%.

I have never been so secure with my Healthcare provider the way I am with Dr. Yanes and his team are miracle workers. Beyond blessed for the thorough care they provide.

Been going to Dr. Yanes for over a year. He refused to listen to me but ordered unnecessary tests. He took an EKG and sent me to the ER saying I was about to have a heart attack. He did not consult for my cardiologist for over 20 years to learn that all my EKGs are always abnormal. He refused to give me an Rx for a medication I have been on for over 15 years due to a chronic condition. He claimed he was not allowed to do so by Banner. Not true as my last doc there wrote the Rx but he unfortunately moved away. He then said he is refusing to treat me because I am uncooperative. The problem was I was too trusting and did what he wanted. As a result I underwent many invasive unnecessary tests and visited specialists that could do nothing for me. At the same time he refused to address any medical problem I have

I had two great telehealth visits with Dr Yanes regarding Valley Fever- a field he specializes in. He was very helpful and listened to my questions and asked his own questions about my medical history so he could give sound advice. He ordered blood tests to confirm if I had anti-bodies /immunity to Valley Fever upon my requests. During the second visit he took the time to explain detailed indications of the blood test results and continued to answer my questions. He even consulted another Valley Fever specialist on my behalf since mine was a unique situation. He was one of the best doctors I've encountered and I am very grateful for his caring and thorough manner! What many patients look for in a doctor is that they listen to them, take the time to evaluate before answering and that they truly care about your health and finding answers for you; and this Doctor did that way beyond what any other doctor I've encountered in my 50 some years of life (including my children's doctors).
