Dr Yakel has performed 2 bunion surgeries for me. He did one foot in 2017 and did the other foot in 2019. Both surgeries went extremely well and I was back to wearing my work boots by 7 weeks after each surgery. My follow up visits went extremely well. I highly recommend Dr Yakel! He is very good at what he does.

Visit was short, minimal hands on exam, called in a prescription that needed prior authorazation, never returned insurance call, had to go to another doctor to get prescription. cancelled next appointment

My daughter is an adult with Down Syndrome. Dr. Yakel is very kind and patient with her, always interested in her life. We know that he supports the Colorado Special Olympics program by offering his services at meets, etc. We have recommended him to several people.

Dr. Yakel did surgery on my foot and it went from mildly uncomfortable to painful. I have had 3 corrective surgeries since. I was an avid hiker wanting to avoid hammertoe issues. Since his surgery I have no movement in my forefoot, have poor balance, and have burning pain in my foot regularly. Needless to say I am no longer an avid hiker! Do not let Dr. Yakel do surgery on you.

After months of foot pain which went incorrectly diagnosed by a previous podiatrist, Dr. Yakel immediately determined the cause of the problem and treated it. He is friendly, knowledgeable and informative. I highly recommend him.
