I followed a Nurse Practioner to this office. She left the office. Being understanding that things happen, I decided to give another Nurse Practioner a try at this office. Well, she left this office. There was no notice until I called to make another appointment ( both times). Since then, I tried another Nurse practioner. She was fabulous. I had to get bloodwork done. I was excited that it was offered at the office now.... well needless to say, it has been almost 2 weeks now. I called today for results and was told the results have been there but not put in my chart or reviewed yet so someone will call me. I stressed to the receptionist about my experiences and how unhappy I was. The only thing she could say was ' Yeah'. Are you kidding me??? Like I told her, it should've been something along the lines of ' I'm so sorry', I'll relay the message and see what we can do about making things better', or basically anything other than 'Yeah'. So very much disappointed and frustrated!!!!

Since leaving Genesee and now Henry Ford
It is as the staff dictates how the office is run. Over the past 3 visits they no longer seem to do any of the intake process. They use to take you weight B.P. If any thing it I believe it is the office manger or lack of. It was stated that he left Genesee, but maybe it is the other way around.

Trustworthy!
The staff is absolutely amazing, so efficient and very helpful! They listened to our concerns & provided help! We weren't getting any answers or help until we switched to this office! Would highly recommend James D Walkers office; to anybody looking for a new primary care provider. So Thankful for Alicia, & Janine & all they have done to help.

Awful staff
This office is so out of order- in regards to patient care they denied medication refills for a Thyroid medication that I have been on for over 10 years. Appointments were booking into April but they refused to give me anything to suffice until my appointment. Absolutely awful. Current receptionist was so beyond rude. Office is not the same since they keep losing Nurse Practioners.

Best Dr. ever! Takes his time with patients, answers all questions with detailed explanation. Great with referalls to specialists. Might be some time spent in waiting room due to the extra time he spends with patients. Well worth any wait!

0 stars. This office is not the place to go if you ever get sick or have an emergency. My 83 yr old mother woke up sick with throat pain, fever, cough. Called the office and was told there were no appointments and to go to Urgent Care. Took her to Urgent care, where they did a throat culture, covid test and chest xray. She tested positive for Covid. They said to call her Dr for meds and to keep a watch on pulse ox as she may have beginnings of pneumonia. Called the Dr and they took a message. No call back. The health dept called us and told me based on her symptoms to call the Dr's office back and ask for an antiviral to be called in. Called the Dr's office again and was told they would put in a task for the Dr. Asked if this would be addressed today and was told probably not. No call and no meds called in. Will be leaving this practice.

I've been going here with my kids for 5 years now. We get sent to the nurse practitioner who has misdiagnosed my kids handfuls of times! We rarely are able to see dr. Walker himself. My child has had lice for 2 months, they refused to see her and Call in$900prescription I can't afford, and my insurance won't cover. I can't get a call back after Speaking with several employees. I would expect more from a doctor! They don't have a baby changer in bathroom as well, I was told to use the hallway!!

I was nervous about switching my doctor I've had since birth since he moves his office so far from me each time he relocates and was recommended Dr. Walker and I am so glad to have him! Staff is so friendly and helpful. I have been going here for about three years now and Dr Walker is so thorough with any questions and concerns I have. He explains things so you can understand. Yhh
