I felt very dismissed and ignored the couple of years I saw him. I am young so maybe that’s why but all he would do every time I saw him was do an echo and put me on a monitor that told him nothing. I would never recommend him to anyone young for that reason.

Explain the risk versus reward
Recommended by wound care doctor, worst recommendation ever, took 5 yr progress back to day one, Dr Thomas never explained the risk versus reward, 4hr outpatient surgery lasted all day. 730 am till they closed at 4pm. They couldn’t get incision to clot. Miraculously at 4 o’clock incision clotted, they helped me into the car and my problems started, Before he put a stent in my left leg, I was walking 50-60 steps with a walker, paraplegic and in a wheelchair. Once he did the surgery, and the groin Swoll to a Cantelope. after surgery I could not close my legs and could not walk, could not stand or transfer. Checked in Bapt hosp ER next morning, they pumped me full of morphine sent me home with a uti and to die. Went to CR in Conway they saved my life they found the internal bleeding and the UTI that other hosp missed Dr Thomas surgery caused the internal bleeding, worst cardiologist ever.

Doctors can’t be wrong or make mistakes?
My Case Notes were inaccurate and when brought to Dr. Thomas attention, he didn’t feel the need to correct, but stated what he should have recorded in the notes. He then stated that there was no need to go back and forth, and preceded to open the door leaving, as if to say he was done discussing the matter. Didn’t say bye, take care, I hope things get better for you, but simply said pretty much I don’t think we can do anything for you here. Which I stated I didn’t come to see him( as a patient) but to discuss the inaccurate notes from my initial previous visit.

When I first moved from Ohio to Arkansas, I asked friends whom to visit for doctors. I first visited Dr. Starnes in Clinton. I asked him about heart doctors, he said there is a new fellow in Conway so I contacted Dr James Thomas, asked if he was taking new patience. I mentioned the doctor I had in Ohio and he knew Dr. Bamdad. This was great. I came to Arkansas 80% plugged up. James has installed two stents. My blood pressure continued to be all over the chart. Had to watch what I consumed, what I ate. I cut my salt intake as well as sugar and paid more attention to the CPAP usage (I had been slack on that one when I moved here). Recently, I was waking up tired, more then usual and after a 30 day study, Doc Thomas's office called and said when we find a bed for you, you're coming for a pass maker. The monitor caught the problem. I've had this pace maker for two weeks now and I'm feeling much better. Thank you James Thomas, his crew and Dr Parker Norris,MD Cardiology

Dr. Thomas was very thorough and seemed caring about my health and needs. But stars taken away for his employee that does his scheduling. When I called for an appointment, she had an attitude problem and was not friendly in the least little bit. I chalked it up to she was having a bad day. Then after seeing Dr. Thomas, I had to schedule some tests, and again with the attitude. I would recommend Dr. Thomas only if you like rude behavior from his staff. Otherwise, the Dr. seems very good.
