I went to the er late night due to progressive pain and respiratory issues. I’m on medications that may have factored to my symptoms. When explaining symptoms he began to cut me off rudely and arrogantly, not even hearing what I was trying to say. He was consdecending and instantly thought I was med seeking, when surely not the case.?? They didn’t even provide me Motrin to say the least or do any blood tests or scans, I couldn’t even get water! I was felt nervous and unheard and wanted to cry.

Dr Stephens is the most incompetent physician I have ever encountered. I actually walked out of the ER, something I have never even considered doing before. He refused to listen to anything I had to say. He refused to read critical emergency information about my rare disease I had with me. He was unbelievably rude. I honestly felt I could die under his care. He insisted I verbally tell him what my symptoms were and refused to read the notes I’d written on my phone while I struggled to breathe

Extremely arrogant and condescending. He entered the room, asked why I was there, while I was in middle of explaining my symptoms he said in a baby voice "Did you call your Mommy"? To which I replied "I wish I could but she passed away when I was 12 years old". He made me feel like I was wasting his time with my flu-like symptoms and said that I could "drink fluids at home". I work in an ER and would never have come to your ER if I didn't feel my symptoms weren't emergent!

Starting with his professional appearance. He has 4 lower front teath missing, hair is greasy, uniform or scrubs are basically scrubby! Now to his treatment of me: it was very poor from the beginning. Told him why I was — Got to drink a maalox cocktail , asked him questions based on what I had been told by my GI doctor—Stevens quickly said he was wrong. Asked for copies of my 2 scans—he refused! ER burns them when patient asks. He flat refused! He is incompetent, rude, doesn’t listen—get him out

Horrible doctor. Won't listen to patients, he knows it all. Rude and arrogant. Missing most of his teeth... how can any hospital employ someone so incompetent?
