Very inpersonal. Inattentive. Cut the umbilical cord and did not give the father the opportunity to cut his first child's cord. There were no birth complications.

Dr. Steigerwald ignored multiple symptoms which I presented to him over multiple visits. I advised it was my ovary that was the issue but he insisted it was my uterus. I went in for a hysterectomy, and not 2 months later had to go in to have the ovary removed. Three hysterectomy was unnecessary after a consult with a different obgyn.

Dr. Steigerwald ignored various very important/dangerous symptoms towards the end of my pregnancy. During labor, he was not as attentive as he should have been. I had a raging infection in my uterus, placenta, and the umbilical cord causing a 103 degree fever and leading to sepsis in my baby; it was NEVER treated with antibiotics. My blood pressure was so high, that it should have caused me to stroke out, this was also never treated. I'm lucky to have lived, unfortunately my baby did not.
