He questioned, listened, and re-evaluated my records. He made recommendations and we agreed on a method of treatment. Blood work this week will then guide treatment based on agreed treatment.

Dr. Greg Sikes cared for my mother and father. Who else would I go see after seeing the care he gave my parents? He was there through a long list of ailments especially with my father. He was difficult with most of his physicians , but not Dr. Sikes. Dr. Sikes is caring, thorough and always smiling, but could explain any procedure in layman terms. The trust my parents had in him, made his treatments easier on me. Once, dad had a fall, and Dr. Sykes told him to get into the office as his heart was skipping beats. He brought in a fellow physician who actually stopped his heart and brought him back. I do not think you can let that happen unless you trust the physicians implicitly. After my parents passed away, he made sure I came in so he could monitor me. He is just the BEST!! I would recommend him to anyone.

Thoughtful, wise, kind, practical physician who cares equally about your diagnosis and your understanding of your illness. Called afterwards 4 times over a holiday weekend to check on progress with medication. Fortunate to be his patient and the beneficiary of his intellect and compassion.

In December, 2019, I was dismissed from the hospital after a month of trying to recuperate from surgery to repair a broken femur. Surgery was complicated by heart failure and kidney failure. The supervising cardiologist and nephrologist recommended that I be placed under hospice care, suspecting impending death. After three weeks I had myself released from hospice since my condition was improving. I immediately went back to my regular doctors for continued help. Dr. Sikes has worked with me for six months trying to find a way to better my lifestyle and has been unceasing in his efforts. I am now scheduled to receive a heart valve replacement, and Dr. Sikes has worked diligently to make this procedure as safe as possible. I am grateful to him for not giving up on efforts to preserve my life, contrary to the attitude of the hospital doctors.

Dr Sikes has been my cardiologist since I moved to Tennessee 13 years ago and he along with the other doctor's at Centennial have been outstanding physicians and care about what you have to say. I don't know where I would be today if it weren't for him.

I believe Dr. Sikes is the reason I am alive today. About 15 years ago he strongly suggested I have a heart bypass.? I listened carefully and ended up having a 7 way bypass. I respect and admire his no nonsense way of assisting patients. He is probably the reason I am alive today. Thanks You Dr. Sikes

Dr. Sikes is an awesome doctor. It is rare to find a doctor that truly listens to you and take you seriously. I highly recommend him. He helped me in my situation and he listened to me, unlike a doctor that wanted to put me on medication I didn't need and did not listen to what I was saying.

Dr Sikes and his staff have a wealth of knowledge, efficiency and caring. Each person I encountered was warm, friendly and patient. This was my first visit to a cardiologist and I was stressed and full of questions. I was uplifted after speaking with them and clearly understand my next steps and I feel supported by their plan for my care. Great job!
