Doctor made appearance-based comments about my body, not medical-related, and certainly not requested or appreciated. He also commented on how he assumed I wouldn’t follow medical advice after a medical treatment, and indicated he chose to do the treatment differently because of his assumption. I had given him no reason to think I wouldn’t follow medical advice post-treatment, and he did not include me in the decision-making. Ultimately, I felt creeped out about getting full-body examinations by someone who was clearly comfortable commenting on my body in inappropriate ways, and have no interest in getting treatment from someone treating me like I’m a child incapable of being responsible for my own medical decisions. If you as a patient care about consent in your medical care and respect for your bodily autonomy, please avoid putting yourself in this position.

Doctor made a comment about women who used govt. assistance while pregnant that was rude. Not sure why he made this comment to me. I was pregnant at the time, but I was a cash paying patient. After that comment I stopped going to this provider.
