Have questions ready.
Doctor Nearhring seems knowledgeable but doesn’t fully explain test results or courses of action unless you ask specific questions. He also seems unaware that when he says he wants to see you back in 4 weeks, the staff will tell you that there is no appointments for three months. Appointments are often cancelled and rescheduled. The staff does not call you with scheduling or changes (even when f you request it), instead it goes through my chart messages only. The doctor will tell you to call the office if you have problems, but the nurses do not listen fully to the issue and have not been helpful. I have been told several times that to adjust my own medication dosage and go to the hospital if I don’t feel well.

I've been seeing Dr. Neahring for several years and have always appreciated his calm, mater-of-fact approach to my heart problems. Last year, I had open heart surgery and he was there for me all along the way. Great doctor.
