Unprofessional desk staff. Rude and shady. Hidden office fees with nothing posted or verbal notification!

The ladies behind the desk is rude and horrible to deal with! If you have State medical with no copays she charges what I found out was a Office fee of 60.00 per tooth! I believe they sign agreement to receive the state payments as a total for services but now apparently charge extra unknown fees. When told after payment was received that it was not a Copay but a office fee the decision was made to not have this procedure believing it is illegalto charge above the medical coverage. Then was told no refund even though the payment was made under a belief it was a Copay. very very rude. No signage stating it requires office fees! This is scamming people out of extra money! Very horrible lady! I will be calling the medical and letting them know this bad practice which is most likely scam is going on!

Stay away. Pat, behind the front desk, is the most rude, offensive person I have ever dealt with in a professional office- maybe anywhere

Please pay strict attention to the one star reviews on Dr. Mullane. I concurr with all of them. I believe the 5-star reviews are padded. I had an infected moral extracted and I experienced the same novocaine issues are the other 1-star reviews. NO effect but he pulled tooth anyway causing extreme pain. One shot squirted in my mouth where he missed. Very bitter. And, the pliers slipped and banged against my upper teeth--luckily, none were broken. To top it off, both the Dr. and receptionist were extremely argumentative and rude. They also billed me $590 for a simple extraction. WAY out of line with RI guidelines and averages.

I was having a great deal of wisdom tooth pain and called many nearby oral surgeons - even surgeons in CT. Dr. Mullane’s office was the only place to fit me in urgently for tooth extraction. The procedure was seamless and efficient. I had minimal pain post procedure that was cured with over the counter medications. His staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I am very thankful for Dr Mullane and his team.

Highly recommended. Dr. Mullane is an old pro who's seen it all. Very happy with his work, and grateful they took me in on short notice. Really enjoyed chatting with him about his navy days too.

DR MULLANE IS A TRUE PROFESSIONAL, A CRAFTSMAN AND AN ARTIST IN HIS PROFESSION. DIRECT, TO THE POINT AND EFFECTIVE. HE DOES THE JOB AND EXPERTLY. NO COMPLAINTS! HIS OFFICE PERSONNEL ARE COURTEOUS, KNOWING AND CARING. I'M OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE. I HAD A TREATMENT ON 7/26/21 AND COULDN'T BE HAPPIER. THANKS TO ALL INVOLVED. Amazing doctor, I went there because my tooth was cracked, staff was great, he chatted, joked around and explained everything about my tooth and what to do after, was in and out in under 45 minutes... would go again

Dr. James, is an AMAZING oral surgeon. He is compassionate, caring and knows what he's doing. I went for a tooth extraction, painless, and quick. Would most definitely referred him to family members and friends.

Worst experience I have ever had the displeasure of having at any doctor or dentist. I was there for a broken tooth that needed extracting. I unintentionally left my x-rays at home and the rude staff expressed their displeasure with eye rolls, stating "What a great start to the day". In the chair, I let the nurse know that I usually required at least two doses of novocaine. She curtly responded "we give you enough". I would NEVER recommend him to anyone. After having an appointment booked for weeks and having being contacted to make sure I was following pre-procedure instructions, I was called about 18 hours before my surgery to say because I couldn't be put under due to a medical condition that I've had the entire time and they were completely aware about. He also was so rude and unempathetic at my first appointment and on phone. He called me names and is the most unprofessional "doctor" I have sadly known

I do not recommend this dentist for anything. Very judgemental. Hurtful bedside manner. In this day and age, people need more compassion when going through stressful mouth surgery. That is not what this dentist is offering. Very disappointed!

this guy is amazing. before i even know he's started, he's finished. he tells the greatest stories, brings up the best conversation while you wait to get numb. the whole staff is friendly and the office park is beautiful. i am a dentist wimp and if i had dr. mullane in my life sooner i would not have been in such bad shape.

Dr. Mullane was terrific! My dentist referred me to Dr. Mullane for several extractions. He was able to take me same day as the referal. After examining me, he was able to save one tooth and painlessly extract the other. He is very knowledgable and made my day!
